I Really Am Reflecting On Myself

編集者: EndlessFantasy Translation

Xue Mingan did not look as aggravated as he was previously. He hummed in annoyance. "Why are you reflecting on yourself? You know you did something wrong…" he muttered.

Before he could finish his sentence, Su Xia's lighthearted, joking voice resonated through the car.

"I am reflecting on myself so that the next time I go out to buy snacks, I will definitely make sure that you will not find out," she said.

"..."

Xue Mingan came close to spitting blood. He stuttered and found himself at a loss of words. This sudden blow from her infuriated him.

Su Xia finally had some peace.

Not long after, Xue Mingan parked the car near the stadium. Tons of people were already queued up in front of the stadium and preparing to enter the venue. Tents that sold merchandise were set up all around the stadium. All of the merchandise had already sold out. Su Xia knew that she would not be able to purchase the merchandise as she would be arriving late, hence she had found a fan online that would be purchasing the goods for her in advance. Therefore, she did not panic about it at all.

Xue Mingan remained expressionless. "Call me after it has ended," he said.

"Alright," she replied immediately. "It seems like you are still mad at me. I was just joking. I really am reflecting on myself. I will not buy snacks again," she added. She had long been used to coaxing him after making him angry.

"Is that even possible?" Xue Mingan scoffed out loud.

"..." Su Xia laughed. "I will not buy that much anymore. I will just buy a little," she said honestly.

She must have had her heart set on making him mad.

Xue Mingan laughed coldly. He then raised his chin and tilted it toward the back of the car. "Take the umbrella with you. It will definitely rain later," he told her.

The tone of his voice had evened out. Su Xia reached out to grab the umbrella, then opened the car door. "I will head over now," she said.

"Okay."

Lu Jingyao had assigned her a seat with an extremely good view. It was situated in the center of the first row. This was a seat that many aimed for when purchasing tickets. Usually, this seat was snagged by the one who had clicked the fastest or had the quickest internet speed. She always asked her friends to go for other seats while she secretly targeted this seat. However, she had never once succeeded in snagging the ticket for this seat.

She had never imagined that she would be sitting here today.

The fans had all entered the venue. Noise slowly filled the entire venue. Everyone held light sticks in their hands while chatting with those beside them. They were all filled with excitement while waiting for the concert to begin.

Each and every one of the twenty thousand people seated in the audience were those who had outshone the other fans in terms of their clicking speed. Su Xia did not dare to act carelessly in front of so many people. She lowered her cap and pretended to look at her phone while waiting for the concert to begin.

Right then, the people around her began talking loudly.

"Oh my gosh, look!"

"Goodness gracious, that is He Yinxia and her husband, Deng Minghan, right!"

"Wang Yulin is right at the side!"

"Wow, look over there…"

Su Xia was already used to it as she had attending many concerts.

Lu Jingyao's concerts were usually attended by many other celebrities. Some of them were close to him and had requested tickets from him personally whereas some of them had bought the tickets themselves.

Usually, those who attended the concert were either close to Lu Jingyao or genuinely wanted to come.

Those who wanted to attend the concert just for clout would not take the effort to compete with his fans to get tickets.

There was a high chance that they would not be able to get a ticket at all.

After waiting for almost half an hour, the concert began.

Amongst the endless cheers and screams, the audience enjoyed an auditory and visual feast throughout the show.

  ——

The concert ended after two and a half hours. Su Xia's voice turned raspy from all her screaming. She left while everyone was still seated. She texted Xue Mingan and left the venue early.
