The Battle Of The Demon Siblings

In the ever-unfolding tapestry of life, circumstances occasionally dictate that conflicts arise, even among those bound by the bonds of kinship. In this crucible of adversity, the question looms large: will any among them choose to unite and confront their collective challenges, or will they opt to face their trials individually? Each of these siblings finds themselves confronted with their own arduous battle, each imbued with a distinct purpose. For some, the impetus lies in their eternal quest for change, an undying ambition that propels them forward. Others are driven by an insatiable hunger for power, seeking dominance over their chosen realm. And yet, there are those whose battles are fought for the sake of love; their motivations rooted in the profound connections that define our human existence. As these siblings navigate their respective journeys, their paths intertwine and diverge in equal measure. Some seek to discover their true nature, to uncover the depths of their being. Others strive to prove their mettle, to demonstrate their worthiness in the face of adversity. From these differing perspectives, the potential for unity or division emerges; a choice that can bind them closer than ever or sow the seeds of animosity. Will their battles drive them to turn completely against one another? Time alone will reveal the path they choose on this journey of self-discovery and affirmation.

*Finding Answers Part 1:

The next morning Slayer was eating his breakfast of Steak that was hardly cooked and eggs, with a glass of blood, in the huge dining room. He was looking over some documents that he needed to sign off on and making arrangements for him to go to a couple of the neighboring Kingdoms to finalize on the peace treaties and oversee on some of the trading that they shared.

He hadn't seen or heard anything from the two guests yet and figured he wouldn't until around evening when it'd start getting dark, knowing how much Vishious disliked the sunlight. But Slayer's Palace was kept pretty dark and didn't have many windows; like Slayer preferred. So he wasn't sure if that would change when Vishious would come out and about.

Malice had went out early wanting to go to the village to get some things and to do some training with Beast; to clear his mind. Slayer knew that last night he didn't get much time to himself to really let everything he was told to him sink in before their guests arrival had then preoccupied the rest of their night.

Just as soon as he got done with all the papers he had in front of him, Vishious walked into the dinning room. He walked up to stand next to Slayer who was still sitting and just stared down at him without saying a word.

"I'm surprised you're up and about I didn't know if you would come out during the day hours or not." Slayer said looking up at Vishious. "If you're hungry you can have the maids make you something." Slayer said while standing up and picking up all the papers that laid on the table.

"Oh I already had a maid help me with a meal." Vishious said coolly, watching Slayer as he was getting all his papers picked up.

"Really, I've been in the dining room for a couple hours now and I haven't seen any maid take any food out?" Slayer said looking at his brothers emotionless face.

"Well actually a maid did bring food into my room, she just never left." Vishious answered, Looking at Slayer with no emotion coming to show on his face. His Black beautiful eyes just kept looking as if what he said was nothing at all.

Slayer couldn't help but be taken aback a little by this, but then it wasn't like he really cared that Vishious had killed one of his maids. He just didn't like him thinking he could do as he pleased to the ones that served him.

"Don't make it a habit to make the maids your dine in meals!" Slayer told Vishious coldly, irritation clearly seen in his eyes as they starred each other down.

Vishious showed his trade mark smirky smile and couldn't hold back the dark chuckle that followed after it.

"Sure", was all he said. "So I don't like to waste time and I want to know exactly what happened on the day that one of my Generals came up dead in your kingdom?". Vishious asked coldly.

"The Night Creature was one of your Generals? A Shadower?" Slayer repeated what Vishious just said, not so much asking Vishious to repeat himself but mostly saying it to himself.

"I believe you heard well what I just said, seeing how you repeated it perfectly back to me. So come come now and tell me what happened because I'm not good at having much patience in matters like this." Vishious said with a impatient tone.

Slayer had not even thought after all these years to ask Beast what kind of Night Creature he had in fact killed that day. Figuring it was one of the weaker ones. They were mostly gargoyle looking creatures, having wings and wore black robes that gave them more of a reaper look, except for their wings that stuck out of the back of it. They couldn't stand the sun and became extremely weak if they were to get caught out during the day hours.

But the Generals and Commanders of the Night Creatures were a different story. They were lower class demons who's demon form was dark and horrifying, they all had their own look; unlike the weaker Night Creatures who all resembled each other, for the most part. Also, the more powerful Night Creatures could take human form. Their human forms they took were anything but horrifying. They had a bewitching look about them.

'If Malice's father was a Night Creature who was a General, then that would mean that Malice could possibly have a human form?' Slayer thought. He would have to think about things later and also talk to Malice about this possible new discovery. For now he wasnt wanting to give Vishious any knowledge concerning Malice being half Night Creature, Not yet anyway.

' I'll just have to leave out the part of Malice living during childbirth but will also have to try and fill in Vishious of the details without Malice being around.' Slayer thought quickly of how he should handle this and his idea seemed to be the best choice.

"Whenever you're done day dreaming, I'm still waiting for you to tell me the information that I'm wanting!" Vishious said a crease coming to show on his brow, as he glared at Slayer with annoyance clearly being heard in his voice.

Snapping out of his thoughts Slayer responded with his own question. "Should I wait for your company to join us on hearing about the situation, after all I can't think of any other reason for you to bring someone along with you?" Slayer asked nonchalantly. "And I wouldn't want to have to tell it twice."

Vishious looked at Slayer with a murderous look in his eyes, but it was quickly replaced with a look that was softer and a mischievous smile that didn't reach his eyes. "My company did in fact come with me on this visit for other reasons that don't concern my General." Vishious informed Slayer. "So it'll just be the two of us. I hope that's ok with you, Little brother?"

"I don't have a problem with that at all. I however would like to know the other reasons your company came here?" Slayer asked becoming a little irritated himself.

Vishious couldn't help but chuckle at this. "Well You answer my question and I'll then answer Yours, sound fair?" Vishious asked coolly.

"Very well, how about we continue this discussion more in my study?" Slayer said. Walking past Vishious before he even finished what he was saying.

Vishious slowly turned to watch Slayer walk off towards his study and the mischievous smile he had on his face dropped, and his look turned deadly towards Slayer. He wanted his answers and quickly so his attention could go on that Kamaira that showed up in the room with them last night.

Just then a figure materialized from the shadows behind Vishious, bowing its head as it came to stand right behind him. "Find and follow the Kamaira that was with Slayer last night. I'm going to get my answers." Vishious ordered and started walking towards the study. "Yes, Brother" was all that was said before the hooded figure disappeared into the shadows.
