* Vishious Hungers For Payne

Vishious walked alone down the dimly lit corridor. This part of his Palace, he allowed no one to enter into; except his Men he appointed when he left.

He finally came to stand Infront of two beautiful black Onyx doors, that had unique carvings on it of a giant raven that was surrounded by shadows and old runic patterns and designs.

The doors opened on its own, as if knowing who came to stand before them and slowly closed as soon as Vishious entered the room.

The room was massive, with black Crystal flooring and the walls and ceiling black Marble. There were torches that hung on the walls that held a bewitching blue-green flame. Vishious walked down the middle of the massive room before coming to stand Infront of a massive aquarium that was breathtaking to see, with water that was blue and crystal clear. With white sand that sparkled like crushed diamonds and held beautiful multi-neon colored reefs and other various sea-life that was exotic, inside the massive aquarium.

And a giant clam that was opened, not too far away from the glass for one to see clearly what it held inside it; Laying on a bed made of the finest pearls; slept a Mermaid.

Vishious stared at the mermaid for a little bit watching her sleep, she looked so peaceful.

Her facial expression seemed to hold the expression like she was content and comfortable where she lay. She had neon-green hair with deep dark blue streaks in it, her tail was one that held the colors of the Labordorite stone; that showed a beautiful display of colors when she moved. Her lips and eyelids had a light pastel green glitter to them and her eyes were a gorgeous shade of Emerald. Her upper part was only covered with blue-green clam shells and her skin seemed to sparkle in the light.

Vishious found himself relaxed as he watched her sleep, he didn't want to disturb her but he had been gone and before he left he had made put her into a deep sleep; until he would return back.

He was the only one who would take care of her. He wouldn't allow anyone else to spend time with her and marvel at her beauty, but him.

He snapped his fingers and then tapped on the glass three times, he than waited while slowly the mermaid started to stir from her sleep.

When she was fully awake, she sat up and looked around her, she noticed Vishious standing on the other side of the glass almost immediately. He just stared at her with his hands in his black trouser pockets, his expression held nothing of what he was thinking as he watched her.

She didn't know why but seeing him standing there looking at her made her heart race and she felt she under his gaze.

Not knowing what she should do, she just sat there staring at him before she saw him motion for her to go to him. She swam to the front of the aquarium and stopped right in front of where Vishious stood on the other side of the glass.

She was looking at him with a look of curiosity and shyness. She placed her hand on the glass in front of her and she was surprised to see Vishious placing his hand on the glass right where hers was.

This made her eyes light up but she quickly caught herself and dropped her hand and schooled her expression, not wanting to make it appear as if she enjoyed this mans presence.

This action of hers amused Vishious, it was the first time she had tried to interact with him through the glass.

It had been a few months now, since he had kidnapped and brought her here.

At first all he wanted was to use her to get Sinyster and her Merwitch black magic that she possessed, to work for him. He knew that Sinyster was too weak and pathetic to know how powerful her magic she possessed was and was clueless of what she was capable of doing.

He knew that he could have easily forced Sinyster to work for him because she was too kind and soft to ever want to fight, especially with one of her brothers. But, to get Sinyster to use her powers the way he wanted her to, he knew he had to do something that would deeply hurt her heart and soul.

Only that kind of hurt and pain would bring Sinyster to use her dark magic, and it was her dark magic that he wanted from her.

He had ordered a few of his lower Night Creatures to go out and watch Sinyster and observe things from afar, never knowing that she was being watched.

His patience finally paid off when his Night Creatures finally brought to him what it was that they finally discovered that he had been wanting to know. And informing him of what Sinyster held closest to her heart.

When he found out what Sinyster cherished most, Vishious wasted no time in getting it. It didn't take him long before he was able to kidnap the mermaid that he would use to get Sinyster to do his bidding.

He displayed little regard for the mermaid he had captured, providing only the necessary provisions for her survival. He showed no interest in her physical appearance.

Until one day when he found himself bored and thought to go and visit his guest, maybe even send Sinyster a scale or two, just to place that fear in her heart. For he wasn't good at being patient with people when he wanted something from them.

He remembered walking into the room that day and noticing it was quiet, the water in the aquarium seemed extremely calm and so he preceded to walk right up to the front of the tank, not in the mood for this visit to take long.

He was searching the water to find where she was and that's when he noticed her.

She was swimming in a way that looked as if she was dancing. She had her eyes closed and so didn't notice she had a audience. The way she twirled and flipped around made the light that was hitting her, sparkle.

Vishious was unable to look away from her and was mesmerized as he had never seen anything that he thought was so beautiful before in all the centuries that he existed.

He wasn't sure how long exactly he stood there staring at the mermaid dancing before she finally opened her eyes to see him watching her.

She quickly swam to hide behind something and not wanting to seem like he held any interest in what she was doing he walked away.

His visits to her grew increasingly frequent over time, with each encounter marked by his efforts to create a more opulent aquarium environment that better suited her. Interestingly, he even granted her permission to venture beyond the confines of her tank to come out and eat her meals in the room her aquarium was kept in.

He didn't like how she wouldn't come out with him in the room. But would leave to allow her time to have outside of the water and watched her through the wall that he made where he was able to see her but she would never know he was there.

It took time for her to dry off where her tail turned into a pair of beautiful legs that had a sheer colored blue-green skirt that flowed around them, that dragged behind her as she walked.

He had missed seeing her when he was away, even though he was only gone a little while it had made him long to see her again, to look at her beauty that to him was unmatched by anything that belonged in any Realm.

He couldn't help but smile at how she seemed to pout, she looked adorable and sexy to him how she did it. He tapped on the glass a couple times to get her attention and she slowly looked at him from the corner of her eye.

She wouldn't admit it to him but she had started looking forward to his visits to her. Everything about him she found attractive and he was the first man that she had ever come across, she had been around Mermen but never anything else.

She cursed herself for making herself look so stupid, the last thing she wanted was for him to think she didn't hate him.

He backed away from the glass a little so she could see a little table and chairs appear with a plate of food and a glass of something to drink for her appear right behind him.

Vishious bowed his head lightly at her before he walked away so she would come out to eat. She watched him leave and waited a little while to make sure he wasn't going to come back, which he never did. She didn't know why but for some reason a part of her wanted him to come back in the room. She had never heard him talk yet and she found herself wanting him to get closer to her without the glass in between them.

She shook her head to stop her thoughts from going any further.

Emerging from the depths of the tank, she gracefully ascended towards the shimmering surface, her lithe body slicing through the water with utmost precision. With each powerful stroke, she propelled herself closer towards a set of meticulously crafted stone stairs that gracefully lead her out of her aquatic realm.

Once she reached the surface, droplets of water cascaded down her iridescent scales, as she meticulously positioned herself upon the cool stone steps. Patiently, allowing her dampened skin to dry, until the last remnants of moisture evaporated, leaving her glistening tail prepared for transformation.

With deliberate motions, she gradually eased herself up, surrendering to the force of gravity. As her sinuous form transitioned from a graceful swim to an elegant walk, her once fishtail yielded to the growth of slender, agile legs.

Descending the spiral staircase, ingeniously embedded along the periphery of the tank, she marveled at the intricate craftsmanship that melded seamlessly with the tranquil beauty of her watery domain. Step by step, she descended, until she reached the floor.

She walked towards the table when she noticed that next to her plate of food that was full of various fruits wrapped in seaweed and oysters, was a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

She had never had the chance to see any flowers except for when Sinyster would bring her back some when she would leave. As she picked up the bouquet and smelled the beautiful flowers, her heart clenched in her chest; she missed Sinyster and wanted to go home. She had never been away from her home before and she couldn't help but wonder if she would ever see her home again. She didn't know what was going to happen to her or what the reason was for her to be kidnapped and brought here but she believed Sinyster would rescue her and that's the hope she held onto.

She sat down in one of the chairs and placed the flowers next to her plate once again as she was starving and couldn't wait to eat the food that looked so delicious in front of her.

She was so zoned in on her food that she didn't even realize that someone had entered the room and was walking quietly towards where she sat.

Unaware of the person's presence, she failed to acknowledge their approach from behind. Consuming everything on her plate, she reached for the glass, she held it up to her face to examine the glass's red liquid that it held, where she then perceived the figure lurking silently behind her.

She dropped the glass and screamed as she tried to run away from whoever it was behind her, suddenly desperate to get back inside the tank; to only have two strong muscular arms wrap around her waist and press her against a solid firm body.

She kept fighting to get away, scared that whoever had a hold of her would harm her, her eyes started to sting and she pleaded, "Please let me go, Please!"

"If you stop struggling and relax I'll let you go. I'm not going to hurt you, I promise." Came the gentle and smooth voice of the one holding her.

She was so scared that she could feel her heart pounding in her chest and found herself fighting the urge to cry. " I'm sorry for scaring you, I just wanted to be in the room with you and maybe get the chance to hear your voice." The person said close to her ear and for some reason it made her relax enough and slowly turn to see who it was.

She turned in the arms of the one who still had their arms around her waist and slowly raised her eyes to look at the face of the man who she was familiar with seeing on the other side of the glass all this time.

Her heart skipped a beat and she could feel her face heat up, while she just stood staring up at him, with his arms around her. His hold on her tightened a little bringing their bodies even closer together. He stared down at her and loved how magnificent her eyes looked this close up. He enjoyed the sight of blush that invaded her cheeks.

"Please forgive me for scaring you?" Vishious asked her in a tender tone, while continuing to look into her beautiful eyes that had him mesmerized. This is what he had found himself longing for, to just be able to hold her and see her without the glass dividing them. If he didn't get anything more, he was grateful he got this moment with her.

"Are you still hungry? I can get you some more food if you want and was wondering if you would possibly like to have a glass of wine with me?" Vishious could still hear her heart racing in her chest and wanted her to relax in his presence, worried she'd pass out if she didn't. " I'm not going to hurt you." Vishious kept trying to convince her, as he still didn't release her from his hold.

"Y-yes please." She said that was barely a whisper for him to hear and he could hear that her heartbeat was becoming more steady.

"You're still hungry?" He asked, wanting to make sure that's what she wanted.

She nodded her head at his question before she spoke, " May I ask you something?"

"You can ask me anything you want?" Vishious said to her. He loved hearing her voice and wanted her to keep talking to him.

"Your name?" Was all she could bring herself to say.

"You can address me as Vishious. May I now know what your name is?" Vishious said in a very soft voice so she'd relax more.

"Payne" She answered. She shyly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and gave Vishious a light smile. Noticing how he still had his arms around her waist and how close he was holding her to him she couldn't help the blush she felt come to her face.

She found him to be the most beautiful man she had ever seen and as much as she knew she shouldn't allow him to get close to her, she couldn't help but be drawn to him.

"You have a beautiful name and you don't know how much I've longed to be near you and be able to hear your voice." Vishious said to her, unable to hold back his thoughts.

He didn't know that he could ever feel the way she made him feel, and he knew that no matter what he would never let her leave him. She was his and forever would be.

"May I join you for dinner?" Vishious asked, slowly letting go of her waist and bringing his hand up for her to take.

"Yes" Payne answered shyly, placing her hand in his to hold.

"Let us go to the dinning hall to enjoy our dinner together, shall we." Vishious said to her as they walked together.
