As Kael closed the system interface he thought about all the things.
Leaning back in his chair, Kael activated the Resource Locator he had acquired.
A faint warmth spread through his fingertips as the item worked its magic, and a translucent map of his barony materialized in front of him.
It shimmered with glowing markers, each one indicating an untapped resource or area of opportunity.
Kael's eyes narrowed as he studied the map. There were fertile tracts of unused farmland in the western villages, ripe for cultivation.
To the north, near the hills, the map highlighted deposits of iron and copper valuable for crafting weapons and tools.
Further south, in an abandoned quarry, there were significant reserves of stone, perfect for construction.
He made mental notes of each location, his fingers tracing the glowing markers.
These resources would be critical to fortifying his barony and preparing for the influx of refugees.
