Was He Waiting for Her?
"Two days?" Ye Qing Xin could not hide her surprise upon hearing that he had been sleeping for the whole two days because of her fever.
She scrambled to get her phone on the bedside table but found that it was not there.
"That's right," Ruan Xia nodded. "Your temperature was too high. I was worried that something might happen to you." She then noticed that her daughter seemed to be looking for something. "Xin Xin, what are you looking for?"
"My phone." Ye Qing Xin tried to look for her phone on the bed, but could not find it anywhere.
Ruan Xia stood up and walked over to the desk. She unplugged the phone before going over to her daughter's side. "Your phone almost ran out of battery. It was Xiao Luo who helped to charge it last night."
Ye Qing Xin took the phone from her mother and began to look at the notifications and saw that there were several emails, messages, and missed calls.
