The Auguste (Indefinite Hiatus)

I didn't have a memory of who I am when I woke up. I don't know why, but I seem to have been able to think like an adult person the moment I was born. I'm smarter than everyone my age, but I think that will quickly change soon. A robotic voice, which is the tutorial bot, said that I was created for many purposes, but above those is the purpose of growing stronger until i am the strongest. I don't know who my creator was, since he's dead, but I will find out on my own. I am Auguste, a clown trying to find his own purpose, not the ones given to him, and this is my story of how I became the god above gods. _____________________ I am not that good of a writer, and quite self conscious also. If you can, please point out my mistakes so that I can fix it for later readers. Anyhow, enjoy the novel!

Chapter 21

Turns out, I forgot one thing about Vane's personality; he doesn't hurt other creatures. He is a pacifist, and due to his past, he doesn't hurt other beings that are alive. That's the only thing I dislike about him, he is too kind and forgiving to a fault that someone in the future could take advantage of that. I want him to change, I really do, but that kind of personality seems to have been rooted deep within him from many years ago.

I can't change him, I really can't.

This is why he did not agree to accompany me to destroy the goblin village, and that is why me and Alexander are going with just the two of us. There are no people here that have millions of power levels except for Terra, Alexander, and Vane. So I can't have my siblings accompany us on such a dangerous trip. They might get traumatized by what they are going to see.

Anyway, in the 4 hours I was by myself, I decided to buy 100 clones and arrange them in the [Training] Section, and look what I've just discovered:

Aside from my [Mana] Training, my [Physical] Training had increased! For 10 Clones only, I could receive 1000 [Physical] Stat every 6 hours! That means, I could receive 4000 each day if I only trained 1, but I've been training 4 simultaneously! That means, in just one day, I will receive 16,000 [Physical] Stat!

16,000 times 360 is more than 5 Million! In a year, I could receive more than 5 Million [Physical] Stat! In a month, I could receive 480,000!

Anyway, I got too excited there. I'm sure my calculations are not wrong this time… well, probably.

4 Hours passed soon, and me and Alexander left the safe house to venture through the tunnel and go to the goblin village.

When we reached the entrance made by the goblins I killed yesterday, we immediately went inside the smaller tunnel. Like the women yesterday, Alexander also had to crawl inside the tunnel because he is too tall.

"You should've told me that it's tight in here so I would've been prepared for it. How long is this tunnel anyway?" He asked me as he crawled right behind me.

"I think, maybe it's around 2 to 3 kilometers. Also, we should get ready soon. I think the goblins would've been alerted of what I did yesterday, and placed more guards right by the ladder at the exit." I said, easily walking through the tunnel.

Unlike yesterday, I was prepared. I wore an armor that I bought from the [Shop]. It's a kind of armor that grows along with the wearer, and it cost me 20,000 KP. It's a strong armor, it can probably block arrows and defend me from melee attacks. One of the good things about this armor is that I could choose what color I want it to be, so I chose black. And it's also not bulky like most armors, it's more like a skin-tight suit but harder.

When I first wore this armor, it looked more like a black jelly, then it engulfed me and then turned into a proper armor.

And I also bought a dagger so poisonous that it will literally melt a person's skin, and then travel around their body, further killing them. It cost me 25,000 KP but it's worth it. I could probably use this to kill the ogre at the goblin village. But, like all weapons, this also has a downside; it doesn't have an antidote. So if I accidentally cut myself with this in my hand, well, it's game over.

Its appearance is that of a curved dagger with a dark purple blade, and 4 open loops at the handle to insert my fingers in so that I could use it better. Although there is no need to mention this, it also has a very sharp edge. A single contact to the skin and it'll be cut open. The tip is also incredibly sharp for better stabbing.

The ogre will die if I stabbed this into it. Maybe I should assassinate the ogre first before alerting the entire goblin village of my existence? Yeah, I should do that. Ogres are notorious for their strength and incredibly hard skin. And although they are big, they can also be faster than the eyes can see. They are tough opponents, so assassinating it should be my first option first.

As we went deeper and deeper, I heard noises right ahead of us. They were small footsteps, coming from our front. Soon, I saw shadows… of goblins. I quickly took out the poisonous dagger, and got ready, carefully handling it away from Alexander and myself as to not cut ourselves.

The moment I saw the foot of the goblins in front of us, I charged with the sole intent of killing them.

Faster than the blink of an eye, I immediately saw 4 goblin miners at the intersection of the tunnel. They came out of the middle, so they might be out for some midnight mining.

Before they could notice me, I snapped my fingers, and small spikes were raised from below them, impaling their feet. And then, with my full strength, I threw my poisonous blade straight towards the goblin at the front, and it went through it, and then stabbed the others at the back, killing them all in a single strike.

I saw that I missed a vital in one of them but that was fine because the poison was fast and they had no time to scream at all to call the attention of other goblins as they took their last breaths.

Unbeknownst to me, Alexander watched from behind, frowning. Truth be told, it hurt him to see his child be this kind of a killer. But he doesn't want to stop him because it'll stunt his development as someone who'll kill a lot of people in the future. While cruel, he already planned to send them to the sect to fight the war that's currently ongoing between the three sects. It's a 2 on 1, so they are currently struggling. They cannot get help from the main sect outside of the bronze continent because they, too, are fighting a war of their own.

He doesn't want them to be like this, he wanted them to stay as innocent as possible but the old fogies at the sect told him to let them join or else they'll kill them. And, even in his vampire form, he cannot take on a dozen Nascent Soul Cultivators at once. He'll die, along with his children.

While on the surface he has many connections, the truth is: nobody from the sect would help him if he decided to rebel against the elders. Why's that so? Because most of the disciples were rescued by the sect since they were abused, mistreated, or even locked up in a cell to be tortured by humans.

But he'll train his children to be strong, so that they can rebel against the sect on their own… even when he's no longer there for them.

He has no choice. He is already being hunted down by the Albion Empire, and if the Coexistence Sect were to be his enemy too, then his children, oh, his poor, poor children will die.

A parent's worst nightmare is to see their children dying, right in front of them.

Soon, I was finished looting the body, and me, and Alexander continued to venture deeper, focused on finding the entrance to the goblin village.

I hope I'm not doing any mistakes, as I'm prone to doing that.

Oh, also, it's my birthday! Yay! The celebration was good, we had pizza for tonight and 1.5 Liters of soft drinks!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the chapter, stay well, and as always, thank you for reading!
