As time passed, Leus discovered something new about himself

'I truly HATE waiting'

He had nothing to do, he didn't know of any way to progress, and

'I can't even Duel because they took all my Points for the Tutor, if I want to Duel I need to wait for my monthly funds the next month ...'

Leus did his best to pass the time.

He kept doing random things, such as surrounding himself with Vapour, eating, sleeping, and doing other random activities. 

He also contacted the Communication Department and sent letters to check on his family and friends.

'Who knew that they delivered letters even to the Slums? Pretty cool'

A couple of days passed like that, during which, Leus checked his mailbox at least 20 times a day.

until finally!

"FINALLLLY" 

'How many days have passed? It's definitely more than five but I don't know how many exactly' 

He looked around him and said to himself

'I need to buy a calendar or something like that as soon as possible'

Inside the mailbox, there was a letter that had the stamps of both the Education Department and the Administration Department.

His heart was racing, he picked up the letter and quickly ripped it open.

It had multiple papers inside it and a pen.

He picked up the first paper and began reading it

The next paper was basically a contract that had all the terms and conditions that the woman explained to Leus when he first went to the Second Floor.

He skimmed through it and focused on the important parts

Grade: Unassigned

Terms: Two teaching sessions + an appraisal session!

The letter had one more piece of paper that was sent from the Adminstration Department

I can say that she's smart and cheerful, she helped me a lot, and I'm sure she can help others too.

Note: She has a really scary habit, but don't be fazed.)

'I guess because my Points are so few only the least experienced Tutor accepted my offer huh'

But Leus wasn't really disappointed

'As long as she will be able to help me, nothing else matters'

He picked up the pen, quickly signed, and put his Mana on the contract,

then sent it to the Education Department.

'Now I wait'

Luckily, he didn't have to wait for long

After about an hour, his door knocked and Leus quickly opened it.

In front of the door stood a young-looking red-haired female, she was wearing a red and black robe and holding a notebook in her hand.

She had an excited expression on her face

"Miss Veta?" Leus asked

She replied excitedly

"Yes! That's me"

Leus opened the door wide and said

"Please, come in and take a seat"

She walked inside and sat on a chair and Leus closed the door.

Then he pushed a button and said

"Please bring two Blackberry Virgin Magneto"

"Young Lord, do you mean Mojito?"

"Oh yes, Mojito"

"It'll arrive in a minute"

"Thanks"

Leus went and sat opposing Veta

"Thank you for coming quickly" Leus said

"I'm honestly more than happy with this opportunity, Young Lord"

"Please, call me Leus"

"It's nice to make your acquaintance, outside of our sessions, you can call me Veta"

"Thank you, Miss"

The door knocked, Leus opened it and brought the drinks

"You've got a fancy taste" Veta remarked

Leus laughed

"Me? No way, that's Nuri's drink. Personally, I drink Sage Tea ... but I guess people here are from a different culture"

Veta smiled wryly and didn't say anything, but she wrote something in her note.

Silence ensued for a couple of seconds, then Veta broke it by saying

"I heard a lot about you, you know? A Mage who fights without spells ... Your aura is very impressive as well"

'Oh? She can see my Aura?'

Leus was so excited he forgot to evaluate her

'An Elite Fire Mage, B Tier! ... That's really impressive'

'She's one of the strongest people I've ever seen, Right after Arno.'

Leus replied her

"Thank you"

"Before we begin, I'd like to tell you that I've signed a contract that prevents me from leaking any information about any of my pupils, I can only discuss it with other Tutors or with the Magic Research Department.

You can trust me without any worries."

"Really? That's nice ... I didn't know"

"It was written in the contract, but no one reads it"

Leus just shrugged

"Well, I know now so it's alright"

She nodded and moved on

"Let's link our rings"

"How so?"

She closed her fist and extended it forward

"Just make our rings touch, then whenever you add Mana to it you'll be able to send a signal to anyone you've linked your ring with."

Leus was impressed

'A lot of hidden fancy features'

He closed his fist like her and touched her ring with his ring, both the rings glowed for a second then returned to normal.

"You can send me a Signal if you want an urgent session or have any urgent questions."

"Nice, thank you"

With these things out of the way, Veta asked

"So, are you ready to begin our first session?"

Leus nodded vigorously

"Then start by telling me about your Affinity"

"Half an Affinity for Fire, half an Affinity for Water, Full Affinity for Vapour, and Full Affinity for a black Element that I don't know.

It's not Darkness because I've never felt any familiarity with it, but I don't know which element it is"

Veta wrote many things in her notebook and then said

" ... Leus, looks like you don't understand what an Affinity is"
