Preparations

Leus got up the next day and had breakfast with his family, then went outside.

'I have to go to train Scar.'

'It's funny how my activities end up revolving around training one way or another'

Leus walked until he found the alleyway that he exited from the last time and entered it

While he was entering, he saw a couple of people walking out of the alleyway

'I guess they're going to work somewhere in the city since it's still morning'

They glanced at him but didn't look for long as they were in a hurry, And Leus continued on his way.

After exiting out of the alleyway, he looked around and saw Scar a bit of a distance away.

Scar was standing with the same two red-haired guys he saw last time and another guy with brown hair.

The brown-haired guy seemed to be in his 20s, Leus activated Advanced Mana Vision and inspected his aura.

'He's a Soldier, but Scar is stronger than him, tho the difference is negligible.'

Leus walked to the group

"I came"

The two red-haired guys were nervous upon seeing him

'Looks like these 2 are still scared of me'

Leus paid them no mind and looked at the new guy, and Scar began by introducing him

"This is Bones, He's a Soldier."

Leus looked at Bones and nodded

"I'm Leus"

Bones crossed his arms and eyed Leus up and down

"Hmph .. Fine"

Leus ignored his reaction and asked Scar

"Where will we train?"

"Near my house, Let's go"

Leus nodded, then he walked beside Scar and Bones, and the two red-haired guys followed behind them.

"Did you prepare the swords?"

"Yeah .. I got a sword for Bones and I'll be using the sword I got in the military"

"He won't need it for now, He'll just need to watch us"

"I thought so"

Bones was still not convinced of this idea so he asked Scar

"Are you sure about this entire thing, This kid will help you evolve, You think so?"

"Just wait and see, Bones, Just wait and see"

"Hmph, fine, It doesn't matter, I'm getting paid regardless."

They quickly reached Scar's house and Leus noticed something

'The place looks different'

"What happened here?"

There was a big clearing beside Scar's house that didn't exist two days ago, and it had a lot of wood scattered on the edge of it and a large boiling pot on top of the wood

Scar explained

"There was a wooden house here so I wrecked it, We need a place to train no?"

"Uh? What about the people living in it?"

Scar shrugged

"I relocated them to another house"

Leus sighed

"Scar"

"Yeah?"

"You understand that once we start training, you're my problem, Right?

If you abuse your powers then I'll take care of it by myself."

Scar waved his hands

"Don't worry"

Bones asked

"What's this big pot for?"

Scar replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world

"Water, Obviously"

"Whose water are you going to collect?"

"Nobody's. We will make it"

He pointed at Leus and continued

"At least he will"

"His hair isn't blue"

Scar agreed with Bones' remark

"Indeed .. Still, He does it"

Leus interrupted their conversation

"Enough with the chit-chat, How about we get started?"

"Fine"

Scar went inside the house and brought his sword, then went and started rubbing some wood, trying to create a fire.

"That's gonna take too long, Step away"

Leus used Flame and ignited the wood in an instant

Scar was impressed, but he quickly said

"Fill the pot with water too"

"Fine"

Scar then pointed at one of the red-haired guys

"You, Make us drinks"

"Yes Boss"

Scar then went back to the middle of the clearing and looked at Leus

"Are we ready?"

"Yeah just step a little behind, Bones, Watch closely"

Scar stepped behind as Leus instructed, and Bones came beside him.

Scar's back was to his house, a couple of meters to his left there was the pot and the red-haired guy waiting for the water to boil, a couple of meters to his right there was the street they came from, and in front of him there was Leus, Bones was standing on Scar's right side.

Leus kept waiting for Bones to step a bit away from Scar, but Bones didn't move at all, so he asked

"What are you doing? move away a bit"

Bones became slightly annoyed

"Kid, Didn't you just say (watch closely)"

Leus nodded

"Yeah, Watch, Your eyes will still work from there"

Scar chuckled, and Bones narrowed his eyes but he didn't say anything

'A couple of minutes more until the kid fails then I'll take my money and leave'

He walked and stood a couple of steps away from Scar.

Leus asked Scar to get ready, and Scar replied with confidence

"I'm ready"

Leus just looked at him strangely

"What do you mean you're ready?"

"I mean I'm ready, Do what you gotta do"

Leus inwardly facepalmed

"You don't know how to take a stance?"

"No, I never used the sword, but these things don't matter, I got raw power."

" ... Right, Raw power ... Just look at me"

Leus took one of the defensive stances Blaze had taught him,

He fixed his posture, straightened his back, aimed his sword up to almost touch his shoulder, and said

"Mimic the stance"

Scar started copying Leus' stance, but he still needed some instructions

"Your legs, Shoulder-wide apart, Your left leg aimed at me and your right leg pointing slightly to the right"

After a couple of minutes, Scar took a proper stance

"Nice, Now this is a stance, I'll attack you slowly, Just try to block my attacks"

Scar nodded

Leus took a deep breath and dashed forward, reached in front of Scar, and swung his sword.

He didn't use his maximum speed, But it was still fast and strong.

He wasn't so careful but he still made sure that even if something went wrong the sword would only cut Scar not pierce him

'If I injure him I'll just heal him anyway'

CLANK

The swords collided, And Scar's hand became numb
