The next day Leus got up, had breakfast, and then went to the library.
When he reached it, The guards saluted him, so he just awkwardly nodded and went inside
'They make me feel awkward ...'
Leus quickly stopped thinking about the guards and went to Arno's desk
"Hello Master, I came back"
Arno didn't take his eyes off his book and replied
"Is there something you need from me?"
"No, Not now, I'll go and continue training"
Arno silently nodded, and Leus went directly toward the bookshelf that hid the room's door and put his mana inside it
'Let's begin'
He entered the room and directly walked to the magic circle and was about to put his mana inside, but something came to his mind
'Why should I activate it? I'm not using any spells anyway ...'
So he decided not to activate the barrier,
Instead, He sat in the middle of the circle, closed his eyes, and focused on his surroundings.
Occasionally Leus would cast the 3 Light Spells he knew of, Cleansing, Healing, and Restore to remind himself of the exact feeling he needed to replicate, then continue trying to manipulate the Mana around and inside him to transform it into Light Mana.
And so, Time passed.
Leus couldn't track time, so he started relying on his hunger and sleepiness. After focusing on this matter, he figured out that if he ate and slept right before going to the library, he could stay focused for about six days before feeling too tired and hungry to continue training.
With this knowledge, Leus made a new plan.
He'd stay in the library for 5 to 6 days, then go home to eat and spend a night with his family. The next day, he'd eat, go back to the library, and repeat the cycle.
After the first 6 days, when Leus came back home, he learned Blaze had gone back to the Strife Zone. As promised, Leus kept returning every 5 to 6 days to check on his family and spend time with them.
Leus viewed his periods of seclusion as sessions, each lasting nearly a week.
'I estimate that every session brings me 20% closer to mastering Light'
So, he stuck to the schedule, and after the fourth session, he felt he almost mastered it.
He was really close, but he made himself stop.
'I must do what I said to Dad I'll do, Even if I'm sure that nothing will happen if I stay here for more days.
'I shouldn't break my promise.'
So as normal, Leus came back home
Following a night with his family, Leus returned to the library for his fifth and last session. As anticipated, he successfully achieved it—by the fourth day, Leus mastered the art of Silently Casting Light.
'YES!'
He raised his fist in the air and celebrated his achievement
'Finally an achievement .... How long has it been since I accomplished something in Magic? Ahh'
Leus felt a warm sense of accomplishment, confirming that his efforts were worth it and strengthening his resolve.
'Feels so fulfilling'
For the first time, Leus opened the door of the room that had a bed and went inside
The room was extremely simple, Just a bed and a small table with a small chair
'Better than a 5-star hotel when you just want to sleep'
Leus lay down and yawned
'Let me just sleep now and after I wake up I'll see what to do next'
A couple of hours later, Leus got up and used Water to freshen up, then he went back to his desk
He returned "The Healing Capabilities of Light Magic," which was on his desk, to the bookshelf, placing it at the bottom. Then, he turned his attention to the two remaining books.
The Art of Buffs, Become a Battle-Light Mage! (Advanced)
The Abstract of Illusory (Advanced)
'Well, I guess I'm going to start with The Art of Buffs.
I want to unlock an Abstract for now ... Actually, I think I'll learn darkness before I unlock this abstract'
Leus moved the second book to the edge of the desk and opened the first one
(The Art of Buffs, by, Luminus Devotus.

'Sacred scripture ...'
'Too bad I'm not among the blessed ones'
(Chapter 1: The Radiance of the Light

By infusing light mana into our eyes, the cloak of darkness dissipates, revealing the hidden wonders of the unseen.
This fundamental practice, though known, is a testament to the divine gift bestowed upon those who walk the illuminated path.
-An ethereal revelation awaits those who revere Light Magic—a sword, once graced with the touch of light mana, sheds its weight and becomes as light as a feather. In the hands of a Battle-Light Mage, weapons transform into instruments of grace, and the very essence of combat bends to the divine radiance.)
' ... This guy is a fanatic'
(Chapter 2: The Holiness of the Buffs
-With Light, we unlock the sacred ability to buff our comrades. Speed, endurance, and enhanced mana—the holy trinity of support—are within our grasp!.
Light Mana, the purest form that harmlessly blesses living beings, is the key to safeguarding and empowering our allies. It is a duty bestowed upon the chosen ones to channel the divine radiance for the benefit of all.
-At the heart of our mastery lies the crucial spell—Advanced Mana Vision. Beyond illuminating the darkness, this spell grants us insight into the quality of our allies' Mana. It pierces through auras, offering an estimation of an opponent's power. Understanding the potency of those we seek to aid allows us to adjust our mana offerings wisely, ensuring efficiency and conservation.)
Leus' eyes gleamed
'Advanced Mana Vision!'
'Exactly!!! This is the spell I need!'
Leus hurriedly flipped the page
