Light = Warmth?

When Arno saw Leus closing his book, he closed his book as well and stood up.

Leus went and put back the book on the shelf,

Then he picked up the blindfold and went to pick up one of the three white Mana Crystal.

After taking one, he went to the middle of the room and stood above the Magic Circle

'I wonder how this will work'

He placed the Mana Crystal and the blindfold on the floor, kneeled down, and touched the Magic Circle.

Arno was some meters away and was watching Leus, but Leus paid it no mind and focused on what he was doing.

Leus put his right hand on the Magic Circle and put mana into it.

Instantly, the Barrier activated

The Barrier was a transparent dome, Its color was dark blue and it was the same size as the other barrier.

Leus walked to the edge of it and tried to walk out but it was like he was pushing against a wall

'So it really is like a prison.'

'The only way to get out is to add Mana again in the circle'

Leus walked back to the middle and looked at Arno, Arno pointed at the blindfold, so Leus sat on the floor and wore the blindfold, Then he put his right hand on top of the Mana Crystal.

As soon as he did that, he felt a connection between the Crystal and himself.

'Two simple orders - Add and Release'

Leus willed the Crystal to release its mana.

instantly, all the mana that was stored inside the Crystal was released, and the barrier became encompassed in brilliant light.

The light was so bright that Leus felt his vision turn from black to bright white even while wearing the blindfold.

To the outside, the Barrier was just a big ball of whiteness with nothing visible inside it, Leus couldn't be seen anymore.

Arno was satisfied with the result, He left the room wondering

'He'll be somewhat healed by the time he leaves, but how many days will he stay inside?'

As soon as the light encompassed the barrier Leus felt heat course through his body ... Not from the outside but from the inside

'More like .. Warmth?'

As the warmth enveloped his body, he felt peace, tranquillity, and calmness.

The pain in his chest lessened until it began to fade, the memories that haunted him disappeared, And everything felt peaceful.

'This is ... so good!'

It was a feeling of complete and utter peace, where everything seemed harmonious and tranquil.

Leus started sensing the light mana around him

'It has no will on it, Just like Neutral Mana, Except that it's not neutral, It's elemental'

The Mana was of a higher quality than Leus'

'As Arno said, its quality is high.

Whoever created it is probably an Elite Mage'

For a while, Leus didn't do anything at all

Experiencing tranquillity after the rough time he's been through was very soothing

'I feel like I want to be here forever, it reminds me of the warmth I feel when I hug Mom ... it is amazing.'

Time passed like this.

Leus has no idea how much time passed while he was enjoying the feelings Light Mana brought to him, but at some point, he felt so relaxed that he slept.

When Leus got up he broadly smiled

'This is by far the best sleep I've got in my whole life'

By now, all the feelings of sorrow, pain, or anger have completely disappeared

'This must be the reason Arno told me to start with a Light Abstract'

When his thoughts reached this point he remembered why he was here

'Right ... The Abstract, I have to learn the Abstract!'

'Arno is the best, but I'll think about this later.'

Leus immediately switched his mindset and began focusing on his goal

He was pondering how he should start, Then he raised his right hand in front of his face

'Too bad I can't see right now'

He imagined his right hand in his mind and started willing the Mana around him to display the image of his right hand floating in the air.

He couldn't see it, but he knew what was happening

' ... It is just scattering'

The mana around Leus was dense, it was very easy for him to control it since he was very good at controlling Mana, and also, Mana was basically all over the place.

However, when he tried to shape it into the image of his right hand, it slowly took form before suddenly dispersing away.

He tried that a couple of times

'A hand is too big, perhaps I should start with something simpler.'

Leus decided to imagine the ring Arno gave him, something small and simple.

The result was instant.

Leus couldn't see it but he knew it

'Much easier'

'So I can create small things easily ... Can I create another?'

Leus was about to try and create another ring beside the first one but suddenly the mana displaying the ring just scattered

'... That's disappointing, I can't create big things at all, And I can't create small things for long'

'At least, now I have a method to train with.'

'First, I have to keep trying until I'm able to keep the ring displayed for a long time.

Then I'll keep adding rings and display multiple rings at the same time.

After I'm able to do that easily for a long time, I'll start creating bigger things.

My goal is to eventually create an illusion of myself.'

It wouldn't be easy, But as long as there was a clear plan for Leus, it wouldn't be hard for him to follow it, especially since staying inside this barrier cleared Leus' mind from any worries.

He was easily able to concentrate on his objective without any disturbance from the outside and without any discomfort from the inside, it was the perfect training ground.

And so, Leus' training continued resolutely.

His resolve was unswerving, and just like Arno guessed, Leus stayed inside the barrier for much longer than he expected.
