Leus looked around him with excitement

'So this entire room is mine huh'

The room was quite big, It was also fully illuminated although it had no windows

'It's interesting how there are no ventilation issues although there are no windows, There must be something magical about it'

He walked towards the bookshelf

'First, I need to start with Light Magic'

Leus began reading the titles of the books to take out the Light-related one, and while he was doing that, An interesting title caught his attention

'This is definitely something I want to read'

'I'll keep it for later though'

'Maybe after learning Darkness spells'

He continued reading the titles and when he was done, he picked up all the Light books and placed them on the disk

'Let's see'

'Well, I guess this will take long'

He put the two advanced books aside and opened the first book

Life Force can rejuvenate existing life but cannot increase lifespans or create what never was.

To make it simpler, Life Force can recover a lost limp, But it cannot grow a limp that one wasn't born with.

Fundamentally, Life Force brings the body back to its peak condition, however, as the body gets older, it decays and its peak condition gets worse, at that point, there's only so much Life Force can do.

- Harnessing Life Force is a delicate dance between power and vulnerability. With a finite supply, its manipulation requires caution.

Collaboration among multiple Mages or dedicated effort by an individual is necessary, but the act of channeling Life Force renders the practitioner temporarily weakened and susceptible to illness.

It's a risky manoeuvre, Do not underestimate it.)

After finishing the first chapter Leus thought about everything he had learned so far

' ... I see, So Life Force cannot fix birth defects and such things'

'Still, it is extremely powerful, Restoring even limbs huh'

'But that has nothing to do with the book's purpose'

He flipped the page

'Hmm, I guess this is a roundabout way to say two things'

'1- Life Force is a lot stronger than Light Magic, at least currently'

'2- The Luminous Kingdom is far more advanced than the Crimson Kingdom in this aspect'

Excitedly, Leus flipped the page

(Healing Spells:

Cleansing: Completely heal the body getting rid of any disease or poison.

Healing: Completely heal and close an external wound

Restore: Completely restore broken bones to their peak condition

Note: Based on how deep the wound is, a bigger amount or a higher quality of Mana might be needed. Also, the quality of the mana determines if there will be a scar left on the body after closing the wound or not.)

To an extent, The number of spells disappointed Leus

'I mean ... For such long paragraphs, I expected that there'd be 10 spells or something'

But he quickly pushed the disappointment away

'Anyway, it doesn't matter'

'What's important is that I should be able to silently cast Light Magic'

Leus memorized the incantations for each spell

'I didn't really focus on this before,

No matter how long the incantation is, I'm able to memorize it almost immediately'

'I wonder, Am I just too smart, or is it because of what Sal did?'

Leus remembered his encounter with Sal for a couple of seconds and glanced at the bookshelf on the other side of the room

'I'll read that book soon'

'Alright that's enough messing around, Let's focus here'

He quickly memorized the incantations and then got up and walked to the middle of the room

Leus stood on top of the Magic Circle

'It'd be really funny if healing magic damaged the room somehow'

Then he kneeled down and put his hand on the circle

'It's interesting to try new things'

He pushed his mana into the Barrier, and the circle greedily consumed all of the mana Leus gave it then started shining

A couple of seconds later, a dome-shaped barrier appeared above Leus' head

Its diameter was around 30 meters

'Magic is pretty damn cool'

Leus was about to start chanting the spells, but something came to his mind

'Hold on'

'... How will I know if the spells work?'

He pondered about it for a couple of seconds.

'There really is only one thing that comes to my mind'

The sound of Leus' Sword being unsheathed echoed in the empty room.

He held the sword in his right hand and extended his left hand forward.
