Going home

Leus walked out of his training room

'It's almost noon.'

Not many people were in the library, but whenever anyone was in Leus' Domain Leus would be able to clearly see their aura.

'This really is a different feeling'

Leus would intentionally walk closer to people to get them to be in his domain so he could inspect their auras, it was like a game to him.

After checking on as many people as he could, he came to a conclusion

'Most of the people here are Mages.

They can't be Knights because they don't have swords, and they're all in the Third Realm, they must all be Mages.'

He walked to the library's door, and just a bit before he walked through it he was able to feel Felix's and the other Guardian's auras.

The other Elite's aura was Just as strong as Felix's.

'This must be Robert's'

He walked through the door and greeted them.

Robert's expression was priceless, he had a visibly shocked expression, and Felix kept smirking the entire time.

After inspecting Robert's aura for just a bit of time, Leus quickly said his goodbyes and left.

'Felix already told me everything I need to know, I want to go home now'

When Leus reached home, he found Blaze and Merlin training with wooden swords in the garden, so he cheerily approached Blaze and said

"DAD! Welcome back"

Blaze was taken aback and froze for a second, then he rubbed his eyes a couple of times while staring at Leus.

 Blaze was clearly dismayed

'How come I didn't sense him approaching earlier? I only knew from his voice'

He said in a very concerned tone

"Where - ..... Leus, Where is your aura?"

Leus then remembered

'Oh right ... I didn't cancel the Abstract of Concealment yet'

So he quickly canceled the Abstract and said

"Here"

Blaze's expression slowly changed to bewilderment, deep inside him he felt it

'This ... This is stronger than me'

Yet, no matter how he looked at Leus, he only saw someone who was a Realm lower than him ...

But at the same time, he was certain that Leus was stronger than him!

'It just makes no sense'

While Blaze was stunned in his confusion, Merlin approached Leus and looked up then said in a slightly annoyed tone

"Leus ... You became taller"

Leus just smiled and used Levitation on Merlin

"Now you're as tall as me!"

Merlin laughed loudly and Blaze unconsciously smiled

"Dad! ... Do you want to try it too?"

His question brought Blaze back to reality and he asked

"Try what?"

Leus pointed at Merlin

"Levitating, it's fun!"

Blaze was skeptical but he agreed

"Fine"

Leus used Levitation on both himself and Blaze at the same time, And the three of them hovered in mid-air

Blaze grinned

"That's indeed cool, it seems that you've become one of them"

"One of who?"

"Fancy tricksters."

Leus chuckled

"Yes Dad, you're right."

After about a minute Blaze said

"Let's go inside"

Merlin wasn't pleased with this idea but he reluctantly agreed, so Leus brought everyone down and they walked inside

Leus walked inside the house and said

"Mom ... I came back"

Viorica heard his voice and came

"Leus !! Welcome back"

She quickly hugged him and rubbed his hair

"You've grown up a lot ... you became taller, your purple hair is brighter and softer, and this black part got even darker"

Leus just hugged her back and didn't say anything

Amethyst came as well and greeted him, then said something about how his eyes and hair looked more beautiful.

Leus spent the rest of the day with his family, most of the time Merlin and Amethyst wanted Leus to

"Make us fly!"

So he kept doing it as much as they wanted.

When it became night, Blaze came to speak to him

"Leus, Why don't you come outside? We have some things to talk about."

Leus nodded and got up, they walked together to the yard

"What's up, Dad?"

Blaze spoke in a serious voice

"Do that thing you did again"

Leus tilted his head

"What?"

"The thing that made your aura disappear"

"Oh"

Leus activated the Abstract of Concealment

"This?"

Once again, Blaze was amazed.

Blaze looked at Leus with mixed feelings

"To think that you can become undetectable in my domain .... Leus ... You're stronger than me now"

Leus just waved his hand

"That's impossible dad, you're much more experienced, you also have that amazing Skill.

Maybe after I become Elite"

Blaze bitterly smiled

"You're being humble, and you know that"

Leus didn't say anything.

Blaze sighed with a smile

"You will soon be six ... only six, but you are already stronger than me.

I'm truly proud of you Leus."

Then he added in a slightly somber tone

"I just hope that you are not disappointed in me"

Leus quickly replied

"Dad! What are you talking about? You're the one who trained me to unlock my first Abstract, without your help I'd have never reached where I am now ... it's only thanks to you.

You and Master Arno truly helped me a lot"

'Also Sal'

But he didn't say his name loudly.

Blaze spoke with a smile

"You've grown too big as well."

"Really? ... I guess so"

Then Leus remembered something

"Oh right, Master Arno asked for you to come with me the next time I go, he wants to talk to us about something."

"Alright"

They both kept quiet and stared at the sky for a while.

Then Blaze broke the silence and asked

"Leus, What are you planning to do?"

"For now, I will visit my friends in the slums, then I guess there are 3 more Abstracts for me to learn. After that, I don't know."

Blaze looked at the sky again and said

"I see, Arno will probably talk to us about the future, so no need to stress yourself about it."

Leus nodded

"It's probably something like that."

They both conversed together for a while about general matters then went back inside.
