Felix followed Leus back to his house.

On the way, Felix was thinking about everything that had happened/

'It's amazing how the Young Master cares so much about his group'

Felix saw how before leaving the Slums Leus spent a lot of time creating Stones and Potions for his gang, and from the way Scar and Bones spoke to him, he seemed to be gaining literally nothing in return.

'No wonder he's loved and considered a Saint there'

Felix started liking Leus even more

'Maybe ... just maybe, if Leus becomes strong enough to be a Librarian or a Duke, he will have a positive impact on the Kingdom.'

Felix was taken out of his daydreams by Leus' voice

"We reached, I'll go and call Dad"

"Ah, yes, sure"

Felix waited outside while Leus went inside the house.

It was morning, so everyone in the house was awake.

Viorica was preparing breakfast and Amethyst was helping her, while Blaze was talking with Merlin in the lobby

Leus opened the door and entered

"Dad"

"Leus, welcome back, also ... who's that outside?"

But before Leus could answer, Viorica heard them and came out of the kitchen

"Leus! You came just on time, let's have breakfast"

Leus scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment

"I can't, someone is waiting for us"

"Someone? Who is that?"

"One of the Library's Guards, he's Escorting me"

Blaze became puzzled

He couldn't see who was outside, but he was within his Domain, and he knew how powerful that person was

"Escorting? You?"

It didn't make any sense, To have an escort as powerful as a library guard is something only the richest people would afford, it was ... quite lavish.

On top of that, Leus is very strong, to an extent of course.

'Why would he even need an Escort?'

Leus looked at Blaze and explained

"Well, things happened. It's not important now"

Then he signaled with his eyes in Viorica's direction

Blaze took the cue

'He doesn't wanna talk about it now'

He didn't press the matter and spoke in an easygoing tone

"Well then, it can't be helped, let's go."

But Viorica wasn't on the same page

"Why would you go without eating? Leus goes to the Library and then disappears for weeks! At least eat with us before you go."

Leus looked at her and said

"I just don't want to keep him waiting outside"

Viorica shook her head

"Why would we do that? Isn't he an Elite Knight?"

Leus nodded

Viorica confidently replied

"It means he's one of your Dad's acquaintances! Invite him to eat with us.

I'll prepare more food"

Blaze inwardly facepalmed.

He tried to convince her countless times that all Elite Knights aren't just his friends but to no avail.

Still, he didn't oppose her idea

"Your mom is right, we can invite him to eat with us. She won't let us go without eating anyway"

Viorica happily beamed and went back to the kitchen

"Amethyst!! Come and help me"

Leus walked back outside to Felix

"Felix, Mom doesn't want to let me go without eating breakfast"

Felix nodded in understanding

"I understand, I'll just stay here"

"Of course not, come and eat with us"

" ... Thanks for the offer but there's really no need"

Felix wasn't comfortable about suddenly entering Leus' house, he knew Leus was just being polite to him.

Blaze came from behind Leus

"Hello"

"Hey El-, Sir Blaze"

Felix was about to formally call Blaze, Elite Knight Blaze, but he stopped himself.

Blaze smiled

"Just call me Blaze, come in, you're our guest"

Blaze extended his hand for Felix to shake and Felix shook it

"Call me Felix, thank you for your invite"

He felt that it'd be rude to refuse anymore, so he walked inside the house.

The table was prepared, but the food wasn't ready yet, so Felix sat beside Leus and Blaze waiting for the food to come.

When Merlin saw Felix's blue armor he became very impressed by it.

"Wowww, Your armor is so cooool!!! Can I touch it, Please?"

"Sure, young man, what's your name?"

Merlin replied while gently moving his hands all over the armor

"I'm Merlin"

"Nice to meet you, Merlin, I'm Felix"

"Some day I want to have a big sword and wear armor like Dad and you"

Both Blaze and Felix smiled

"Train hard young man and you'll surely be able to do it."

Soon after, Viroica and Amethyst came carrying the food and placed it on the table

Felix got up and spoke politely

"Hello, Madam and Young Lady, thank you for the invite"

Viorica replied politely as well

"Please, have a seat, no need to be so courteous"

Everyone sat and started eating.

Viorica originally planned on making a light breakfast, but after inviting Felix. she added Baked sweet Potato and beef with the eggs. On the side, there were some sliced apples.

The food was very tasty and liked by everyone, Felix praised it a lot

"The food is amazing, you really cooked it to perfection!"

Blaze quickly agreed

"Viorica's food is always amazing"

Viorica beamed

"I'm glad that you both like it"

They conversed lightly for a while until Viorica suddenly asked

"Sir Felix, why are you escorting Leus today? Did he do something wrong?"

Felix shook his head

"Leus is a very good disciple, Madam, I'm just following The Master's orders"

"Really? If that's the case then it's good"

Felix nodded and said with a smile

"You know, I'm expecting a child soon, I hope he will be as talented as Leus"

Viorica became very excited

"Really? That's amazing! Congratulations! I'm very happy to hear that"

Then she gave Blaze an expectant glance that only he knew what it meant.

Blaze quickly congratulated Felix as well

"I'm happy for you, I'm sure you'll be a wonderful father."

Soon, the food was over, so Felix got up and said

"Thanks again for the invite, next time will be on me! I want you to meet Arleen"

"Sure! We'd love to!"

Felix politely excused himself and left first, and Leus said his goodbyes to Viorica, Amethyst, and Merlin, then left the house with Blaze.

They walked to Felix and left with him to the Library, the two had a lot to discuss with Arno.
