A couple of minutes later, Melisandre came out carrying a wooden tray that had cookies on it and said in a cheerful tone

"Leus! What a pleasant surprise, I just made these, take some"

Leus took a cookie

"It's better than the last time ... Your cooking skills are improving."

"Thank you, I'm glad that you liked it"

"Well now ... I heard that you finished the task I gave you, is that correct?"

"Yes! I can now chant Speck 27 times"

Leus nodded

"Great job. Let me teach you another spell, it's called Rock."

Leus spent about 20 minutes with Melisandre teaching her the incantation and eating cookies with Melanie.

"When you can chant this spell multiple times, you will be able to create many building stones, you can use or even sell them.

You can also throw it at whoever you want."

Leus said the last line jokingly, but still, it could work.

Melisandre's expression was earnest and she was absorbing all the information Leus was giving her until he was done.

"Thank you so much, Leus, you're the best."

Leus just waved his hand

"Don't worry about it, how is your dad?"

"He's well. This winter he got sick once and we used the cure you gave us the last time, and he immediately became fine.

Scar told me that if I need I can ask him and he has lots of it, so it's all good."

Leus nodded

"How are things going with Scar?"

When Leus asked that, Melisandre became visibly embarrassed and replied in a low voice

"He's being nice.

He sends someone to bring us water daily, so now I can focus on my hobbies like cooking and learning Magic ... I feel that he's doing a lot for me"

Melisandre was unconsciously smiling while saying that, Leus saw that and thought.

'The love birds will soon fall in one nest'

Melisandre already seemed embarrassed enough about it, and Leus doesn't like making awkward jokes, so he decided to end it here and move on.

"Well, if you need something let me know, I'll be happy to help"

He then looked at Melanie and said the same thing

"You too little one, if you need anything ask your sister to let me know"

"Thank you, big magician!"

After talking with the girls a bit more, Leus said his goodbyes and left the house.

His escorts were waiting outside, he walked to them and they moved towards the Base.

They walked for a bit, but then

'Huh?'

From the corner of his eye, Leus noticed two figures walking suspiciously fast and disappearing behind a corner

'What was that'

He stood in his place and looked at the corner, then scanned the area around him.

The two escorts looked at each other then one of them asked

"Boss ... is everything okay?"

Leus didn't reply

He activated the Abstract of Concealment and cast Advanced Mana Vision.

He searched the area around him, but nobody was there.

' ... Interesting'

'It's as if they disappeared.'

Leus looked at his escorts and said

"Yeah, everything is okay. I just thought I saw someone"

They didn't say anything and the three of them continued moving forward.

On his way to the base, Leus kept checking behind and around him.

' ... Too far'

Once again, he saw two figures moving from corner to corner, but they were so far behind that he wasn't certain if he was right, so he acted like he didn't see anything.

When he reached the gate, four guys were still standing and guarding it, so he approached them and began talking about random things

"How are you doing? And how do you feel about the new changes?"

And so on, he simply wanted to make it look like he was busy in a conversation.

'Whoever is following me should feel confident thinking that I'm busy with my conversation and they'll reveal themselves, or they'll get closer to listen.'

And he was right.

Suddenly, a head peaked from behind a wall at the end of the street, Leus instantly detected its aura with Advance Mana Vision and locked eyes with the head for just a second, and the atmosphere became heavy.

'He is not from here'

As soon as Leus reached this conclusion, he dashed forward and used Boost to increase his speed.

When the man saw Leus running towards him he immediately turned around and began running away.

The six guys around Leus were confused as to why Leus suddenly began running, but they couldn't just stay idle, so the two that were escorting him started following him.

Sadly, they were too slow, Leus was already far ahead.

When Leus reached the end of the street and turned around, he saw that it was not only one man who was running from him.

'There are two'

A red-haired man and a blue-haired man.

Both the men didn't slow down and kept running as fast as they could.

Leus was running behind them

'Their physical speed is as fast as mine'

Then he smirked

'But they don't have Boost'

He was confident that eventually, he'd catch up.

'What's important is ... what exactly are Elite Knights doing here? They must be from the outside.'

'But why would they come here?'

When the men noticed that Leus was getting closer to them, they suddenly split and ran in opposite directions

Leus sighed

'Where's that magical chain smoke when you need it'

He randomly chose one of them and kept chasing him

'Maybe it's better this way, after all, I don't know what would I do if I caught both of them. Just one is enough.'

Leus was steadily getting closer to the man, with every Boost the distance between them shrunk.

Finally, they were only a couple of meters apart

'That's enough'

Leus extended his hand forward, and cast Shield, raising a big wall in front of the man and blocking his way.

The man stopped in his tracks and turned around.

He locked eyes with Leus and unsheathed his sword.

When Leus saw that, A terrifying smirk appeared on his face

"You are in my Domain"
