He may know the peace of death but I know the chaos that is life He may create armies even when in battle but I designed the battlefield. War cometh but Victory is mine. ... I do not own anything in this book apart from my OCs, all rights belong to their original creators. Also I will change a bit of the lore since the OG story while entertaining and interesting doesn't fit my needs and doesn't seem complete .... Cheque

"Here" Jin Chul said as he handed over the documents

Going through them, Steve found them to be a whole new identity, a cheque of thirty (30) billion won, a bank card with some documents that stated that it was mine and his new hunter's license.

"B-rank?" Steve asked surprised.

"Your case is a bit different, your powers aren't offensive or defensive in anyway, however you are a very potent craftsman so such a rank is very befitting" Jin Chul explained

"Oh, that makes sense and i'm guessing the cheque is for the dagger"

"Perceptive" The chairman replied

"Thank you, I would give something in return but I have nothing for now so I can only say I owe you one, one day I will return the favour" Steve replied with a smile.

"Expected that" The Chairman replied with a weird face that indicated he knew Steve would make such a promise.

"I plan to cash in that favour"  he said as Steve heard a loud thud on the table.

A large piece of crystal had appeared on the table from nowhere. The crystal looked like something from some anime or cartoon due to its unrealistic looks.

It looked metallic but grew like a crystal and above all, he could sense a massive amount of mana imbued into the crystal.

"Whats that?"

"True Gold, a metal that's lighter than aluminum but stronger than tungsten. It was found in a dungeon in America but no one has been able to mold it so far, I think it would made a good long sword, right?" The man said with a smile

"I knew the deal was too good to be true" Steve replied as he began to chuckle.

"Well you said you owed us so we're cashing in on that favour"

"No problems then, I'll do as you request, just be ready to me marveled later on" Steve said as he took the documents and left the office.

He didn't need to take the True Gold with him, it was too heavy for him so he could come for it later.

For now though, he needed to establish himself first. A home and even a workshop was needed before he could start thinking about working on the crystal-like metal.

As soon as he left the Association building, Steve headed straight for the bank. He needed to ensure that the bank account was truly in his name and if the check was real.

Meanwhile back in the office, the chairman could be seen standing by the window way hung the city down below.

"Do you really think, he will be able to make a weapon out of it?" Jin Chul asked

"I don't know, he can make C-rank weapons out of common materials, he may have the capabilities to make something work… At least with the money he has now, he would at least try to compensate if he isn't able to use it" The chairman replied with a smile.

He didn't know if it was the position or just his age but it seems his ability to judge people and plan accordingly had improved drastically.
