when I awoke from meeting with the strange figure I knew that opening that gate would take some time so I decided to work on my swordsmanship and look for work in the nearby village.

it has been two months since I saw the strange figure and everyday I train with my sword and work on opening the gate while I sleep so far I haven't gotten very far the gate hasn't even budged once.

my sword training is paying off I have gotten to a current skill level where I can take down a guard with little to no effort.
