In the Sky

Raven was getting anxious but he had his Martial Spirit activated all this time . So he can just instantly disappear if something went wrong .

Raven knew that Blue Fire fruits can be refined and one can easily obtain essence fire then . Other way to acquire essence fire was only to venture into extreme climates and find it . Then one had to subdue the fire which has consciousness to obtain essence fire . This was too difficult and Blue Fire fruits were that's why too valuable . Raven also knew that Fierce Eagles need special fire treasures to awaken their dormant bloodline so he thought that Blue Fire Fruit may help them too . It was only at the level of speculation thus Raven was not hundred percent sure .

" Madam ? " Raven could not help but call in a soft voice because he wanted to hear from the chief herself .

" Ahem.. Human , I will not ask from where did you find so many fruits . I was just lost in thoughts because yes , this fruit is too important for us . So just tell me what you want in exchange ! "

Raven relaxed after hearing the words from Chief . His speculation was right .. Raven now wanted to see a Fierce Eagle who can cultivate both Wind and Fire energy but it was impossible in short time .

" Madam , I just want one of you friends to escort me to the Central Continent . I want to travel there but it will take too much time if I go by myself or choose other means . I have read that flying beasts have knowledge of safer routes thus I came here with my proposal. " Raven smiled and answered the chief .

He was pressured before but now it had dissapeared so Raven could finally smile . For a man who was just an ordinary university student before, this experience was truly nerve wracking. But Raven knew that he will encounter more dangerous things in future. He was not afraid though because his unique Martial Spirit did not provide him with cultivation talent but gave him security like none other .

" Human , you.. just this much? "

" Yes , only this much ! "

" Hahaha.. brat , you know the true value of the blue fire fruits , right ? "

" Yes but I feel that 2 are enough for me and I am too weak right now . It's already blessing for me that you were willing to listen to me in the first place . "

" True , we may be peaceful but not have so much time to listen to weaklings . Brat , you are called Raven ? "

" Good . Raven , these children call me their queen . Rest assured because I will personally escort you to the Central Continent. I can only drop you at the edge though .. "

Raven grinned when chief agreed and just nodded in response. He knew that if they went deeper in the Central Continent then it would alert powerful beasts and cultivators .

Raven sat on the ground and took a space belt from his bag . The belt was ordinary space belt but Raven had used some blue paint to casually mark it . Inside , he had stored 7 blue fire fruits only .

Raven pressed the button and emptied the belt . 7 dark blue fruits appeared but all of them had a light red aura emitting from them. Raven could not sense the energy inside them yet but the eagles could . All of them started screaming but Raven could feel that they were happy this time . Raven also smiled and stored the belt back after storing 2 fruits back.

He walked towards the chief in slow steps while carrying the five fruits in his embrace. He could not climb the huge plateau so could only wait for the chief to descend down.

He placed the fruits on the ground and immediately the chief loosened her long and beautiful wings . She came down and Raven fell down from the strong gust.

" Hehe.. " Raven helplessly smiled because he was too weak to withstand such strength.

" Tch.. human , you are too weak ! " Raven heard the nice and mature female voice of the chief and saw that she actually used her beak to catch his clothes and pulled him up .

Raven landed on her huge back and smooth fur but Raven could only shiver in fear .

" Madam , thank you for lifting me up but wont I fall down easily ? "

" Do not worry, I will create a small barrier so you will not feel anything .. "

Raven was awed when she started flying . The huge body instantly shot up in the sky but Raven really did not feel any pressure at all . He tightly grasped small amount of fur with his hands and smiled excitedly while watching the view like a child .

In seconds they were up in the sky and Raven saw huge and small clouds left and right .

" Raven , we will reach there soon em.. in about 3 hours ! "

" So soon ! " Raven was baffled because the time required was too Less than he had thought .

He finally realised that they were traveling too fast and he just could not feel it because of the faint green barrier surrounding him . Raven was marvelled by these powers and could not wait to cultivate himself .

The journey was quiet but Raven completely enjoyed . Just watching the drifting clouds from up close was enough for him .

" Raven , we have arrived on the outskirts of the ancient forest but I do not know what you humans call it . "

The chief descended gradually and landed on hard ground . Raven could only see unending forest in front him while behind him was a small beach and vast ocean .

Raven jumped and landed on the ground feeling a little pain in his legs. But his smile was genuine.

' I finally arrived ! The Central Continent hehe.. I cannot wait to steal all those nice treasures..'

" Thank you chief ! " Raven bowed and the chief only nodded and then dissapeared into the sky ..
