CHAPTER 40 Back to Normal

　　Wren's POV

　　This was the first time I heard Ralph call me by this name and I smiled at him. It was nice hearing him call me this.

　　I tightened my grip on him. "Yeah?"

　　"Yes," he said nuzzling me.

　　After we had sorted out our emotions, the three of us went back to my house together.

　　I told Zara everything that had happened, and she was not surprised at all. Just like the day she arrived, she seemed to see through me. She also saw through Ralph and Clover.

　　I had thought that I would have to go with Clover to find the cursed witch and have her lift the curse. But I didn't expect Zara to break the curse directly.

　　The next moment, the attraction between me and Hayden disappeared completely. I could no longer feel any connection to him. For it to disappear so quickly, so easily, it really must have been fake.

　　So from the beginning, I only had Ralph as my mate.

　　But for some reason, my heart felt empty, now that the link to Hayden was gone.
