Killing a Star
The door swung open with force, and Enzo walked in a stride as if he owned the Estate instead. However, unlike his normal pompous entrances, he didn't say anything even after sitting down on the bottom end of the second long couch in the room. Aldous walked in as elegantly as Enzo was brash, soon taking a seat on the single couch facing Nicholai.
Darius was sitting at the adjacent seat where Nicholai was, both Alphas watching their guests enter the room. He then got up to take a tray of cookies and a tea set to serve hot fruit tea to his father-in-law. Instead of coming back to Nicholai's side, Darius sat at the bottom end of the first long couch. He could take a look at Enzo, but the prince was more focused on Nicholai's image.
Aside from Darius's movements, there was no other sound in the room. The lesser Alpha was hoping for them to speak first, but even if he visibly cast his gaze on Aldous, the old man was not saying anything.
