Darius, Dear, I'm not Built for Such Things
The sound of faint splashing and muffled giggles woke up Megan from her sleep. When she opened her eyes, she was encumbered by darkness. However, the cold air was being pushed away by the fire coming from behind her. Megan suddenly rose from her sleeping bag, warranting Vivienne's spooked scream. Her voice inevitably woke up Adrian as well.
Megan only hurriedly got off of her sleeping bag and went to hug Vivienne. "Shhh, it's okay, I won't eat you. Daddy said you get scared of monsters at night because they will eat you."
"Not really, you just surprised me, Megan. Why do you rise like that?" Vivienne caressed the girl's long and soft dark hair. It was nothing like her wig, but she knew that she only needed to grow older to wear her own hair long again. Unlike that of Megan, it would be white, just like the snow.
