"Lies? You're the ones who lie…" Rowan got up from his seat and grabbed his cloak to hold it in place. He then swiped his other hand to the side, his black claws extending to their full lengths. His throat hurt at the smallest noises he made, but he gambled with the pain as he screamed: "You were planning to revive the Abyssal King's crest! Don't you dare lie to—!"
Blood shot up from Rowan's throat, and he vomited a lot as if the insides of his throat were slashed. He grew paler and fell down, but Cara caught him and didn't let him go even while he was coughing out blood to breathe. His cloak fell, and the deathly scorch that plagued half his head showed. Liquefied silver had dried on his skin as if half of him got soaked. It even hardened against him.
