Hours passed by, the clouds turned dark yet there was still no sign of Emidio coming home. Pedro had tried to connect and mind link him but still, there was no sign. He felt pity for Daisy because he knew that Emidio loved her, but he also knew that a part of him to reject her was still there. Pedro had to right to fully console her, he was going to get electrified if that ever happened . He watched as Daisy walked to Emidio's room and closed the door to sit on the bed with tears.
"Maybe I really went too far this time" Daisy whispered with her shaky voice. Emidio had a rough childhood, he was born into the royal system with great power and that alone got him isolated from fun and true meaning of life. All he did was work since childhood. Upon that, he kept receiving many mates and kept rejecting them per his duties to stay focused as a king.
