Silence.
Ezra looked at Heinrich's soothing and serious face, knowing that he was only worried about her. But she refused to answer him. "You should focus on the war. Go."
"I'm sending my army to your husband as we speak," Heinrich seriously pestered. "I want you to tell me what you are worried about, or I won't leave. Did you see your own face? It's like your face is saying that tomorrow will be the apocalypse."
Heinrich was worried because he knew how Ezra knew something no one else knew. She had repeated her own life 7 times, and he never saw her this afraid.
Ezra looked up at him, didn't know what to say. But then, she gave up. If it was Heinrich... then she could say it.
"I'm... pregnant..."
The second Ezra said that word. Heinrich lost his breath.
Ezra looked up at him, seeing his eyes widen and witnessing the man's world change right in front of her.
"You're... what?" he asked.
Ezra was momentarily speechless. But so was he.
