"Miss Yelan!"
She left.
She let go of her hand even though Aslan had tried to stop her.
As he stood there, seeing her staggering back running toward her real destiny, Aslan felt his heart crumble. So it was truly... impossible.
Aslan wanted to leave. He couldn't bear to see, yet he forced himself to stay rooted to the spot.
Just a bit more. He wanted to make sure Yelan would be okay. He wanted to make sure his love had made the right decision.
Would it be okay to let her face her fear like this? Would it be okay to let her become a monster's bride? Would she be happy?
He stood there, watching as the scene unfolded. As Yelan hugged the beast, his body started to transform back into human form.
He thought he was ready to do everything to help her gain her own happiness. He was ready to bring her away and give her the escape.
Even though he knew she was only using him for her own benefit.
"Aslan Antarcticite."
