Azer carefully put Amara down on the top landing of the entrance stairs. Amara had never seen the imperial palace of Avendelle before and didn't have a general idea of how big palaces could be, so she was utterly amazed at how tall and enormous the palace of Leymar was.
Tall and thick round columns lined in parallel before the gigantic main entrance door. The space alone between the stairs and the door can already host a small banquet, how much larger will the interior be? Amara wondered.
Her face filled with awe and excitement, temporarily drowning her nervousness because of the new and foreign things she was experiencing. She glanced around until her eyes landed on the man standing before the door.
Amara stopped admiring the place and focused ahead. Hansel bowed as soon as they approached, greeting the two politely. His entire arm was bandaged and there were still visible bruises on his face.
