The Adamas Project: Restoration
"This is the only way to save you." The deadly disease infects many adolescents around the world. They only have ten years to live. Arthur became one of the many teenagers infected with the disease. He began to feel seizures and had difficulty speaking to moving. Both parents took Arthur to be treated with a particular method, brain nerve recovery with a full dive treatment method. The patient will dive into an artificial world to train sensory and motor skills. Scientists call it The Adamas Project. This is the only way that can cure patients quickly. The patient will live in a new world in a medieval setting to form a strong mind. This is how scientists train new capabilities of a 'damaged' brain. But the big risk comes. Patients who die in the artificial world will die in the real world. Arthur accepted the risk for his recovery. But will he be able to complete his treatment in the artificial world?
Attack On Bandits Village
"Pull your spear back, Arthur," Beatrice said.
I followed what she ordered. I lowered my gun and walked away from the five of them. Unlike Beatrice, the woman still stood firmly in front of the five men.
"How many groups have you robbed?" asked Beatrice.
"Three groups," replied one of the men.
I stood on the other side; my eyes fixed on the man talking to Beatrice. While listening to their conversation, I occasionally took a sip of the drink in the glass.
Beatrice kept asking about their group, such as the number of members, whether there were any children there, or any activities other than robbing. Beatrice seemed to be very curious about the activities of these bandits.
I noticed that the woman's face looked so enthusiastic. Every time the man spoke, Beatrice's eyes seemed to squint hard as if she was listening carefully. Unlike me, I sat on a chair while enjoying their conversation.
"Do you need to ask them that?" I asked.
