The 7th Great God (Overlord Fan Fiction)

Tetsujin Yosei, was a player going by the name of Night Silver in the popular game of Yggdrasil. Making it a point to enjoy the things the real world no longer had, nature, he played as a druid, more specifically a Solo-player Immortal Dark Elf, woman. During the game he quickly rose to popularity for several reasons and was well known to those who kept up with the happenings of solo-players. He had unlocked the fullest potential of the druidic line. Causing others to search for improvements within their own builds. On the very last day the game's servers were online, he spent it enjoying the natural looking environment attempting to spend every last moment with it before being forcibly logged out. But... He suddenly found himself in another world. A world filled with nature, but also ruled by mighty creatures, True Dragon Lords. Joining him were 6 other players, their NPC's and guild base. Together they work to build a nation for the people of this new world to live in. And follow Night Silver's story as she explores the unknown timeline of Overlord's vague history. Times of strife, and times of peace. Night Silver builds a world she can enjoy. And how she changes the story overall. NOTE: I do not own Overlord. This work is purely a fan made series. Please support the official release, in either anime/manga/novel format.

The Winged-Humans (20) After The Rumbling (5)

Night Silver's face responded in kind to the warm sentiment, reddening slightly on cheeks were a dead giveaway. Brightness' words struck her in a way she hadn't ever been treated before. I mean sure, I had many friends whom I loved playing with. But I never had any romantic relationships. I was mostly just imitating how I had my character act in the game this whole time. But… I… Night Silver's lips curled into a happy smile. I actually do love him. I also Love the Water Goddess… But that's fine I'm sure I can get away with some fun before anything becomes problematic.

"You're really making a bid for me, even though you know of my past…" Night Silver said, through her intoxicatingly happy smile.

Brightness looked Night Silver straight into her eyes. "I am, for starters there is no better partner for a dragon than a strong woman. And before me stands the strongest woman I've seen apart from one other, my mother. And no amount of dragon pride is going to get me to seek her out." He said, then noticed Night Silver's smile slowly fading.

"Oh, I see… You don't actually love me then…" Night Silver teared up. What am I even saying! I must have really loved him if I reached the point of instinctually crying at this point.

"Hmm, maybe that came out wrong then. Love is a difficult concept for us dragons to grasp. But if I'm not mistaken, I do love you. I could think of no one better. So please, don't cry." Brightness replied, trying hard to convey the feelings he had. This is going to be difficult to understand without a lot of effort on my part. I want her to be my children's mother. That is not an easy decision to come too. Perhaps I should just say that… "I love your; strength, beauty, charm, caring yet decisive nature, magic and that smile. I love everything about you. To me, it matters not what you were in your previous world. What I see here and now is a beautiful and strong woman ready to love her people and defend them with everything she has. Even going as far as to protect all of them as if they were your children. So I have a pretty good idea how you'll treat our children." Brightness continued.

As Brightness spoke his words of affection he seemed to begin understanding the concept of love. It was rather simple, yet complex. It is intangible yet precious. That's it. Moigit and Frayrisis both looked at each other and started laughing, falling onto the pile of rubble behind them.

"Sister! Do you know how much us dragons love shiny things?" Moigit asked through his laughter.

"That's right, like gemstones and gold?" Frayrsis added, as he laughed too.

"Huh? What was that?" Night Silver asked, confused. What did they even say? I couldn't hear it, I was too busy understanding this feeling I had with those words from Brighty… She stood there squirming with cheeks as red as brilliantly tinted rubies.

Brightness smirked with confidence. I should thank those two later somehow. This is perfect. Love is just as precious if not more so than all my hoard. This woman proves it. "Sil, I love you more than I could ever desire the world's jewels and riches. You sparkle and shine brighter than any hoard of treasures." He said, as his tail quivered.

The two younger brothers paused their duet of laughter for a moment after hearing their big brother speak. Then in perfect sync they turned and looked at each other… Both had a spit take, and the duet of laughter began again. This time louder and they rolled on the ground.

"Brighty, when you speak like that… You make me impatient. Promise me you'll finish learning that transformation within a year." Night Silver said, as she recovered from her momentary squirming. "Ah, it'll be an earth shaking event for sure. Together we will share an intimacy transcending our births. I can hardly wait." She continued, rubbing her hands along her body sensationally, ending her speech by licking her fingers in a rather enticing manner.

"With the rate I'm going and motivation like that… I'll make sure that I finish this transformation in time. Such a task is only right I pull it off." Brightness replied, with an almost arrogant confidence.

Moigit and Frayrsis were still laughing along, enjoying the hilarious scene before them. Though it ended after the sense of out right repressed sexual tension in the air was replaced with something a little more serious.

"Two little brothers, so then, what's been so funny?" Night Silver asked, cracking her knuckles.

"Ah! Please, don't hurt us sister! We were just laughing because big brother Brightness has been acting all gushy." Moigit all but screeched in a pitifully fearful high pitched voice.

"That… That's right big sister! We just haven't seen big brother like that. For that matter I've never seen any of the dragons act that way. So brother must really love you with everything he has!" Frayrsis added in a similar panic.

The two young dragons were now clinging together in a dramatic fashion.

"I see, so you aren't just being purposefully annoying… This cross species stuff is going to be annoying at first. Hmm, I wonder how my people will react. I know I was surprised by how I felt." Night Silver said, calming down.

The two young dragons exhaled a tension relieving sigh, in sync.

"Big Sister, I don't think they will have a problem with it. Most of us are revered or feared as gods. Since Sister seems to have been revered in a similar way…" Moigit suggested.

"Yes, that's right. If anything, it will make brother Brightness seen as a more benevolent god. I doubt it would cause you any trouble… After all, it seems you and your people have a two way shared sense, like love but different from the one you shared with brother… I'm not exactly sure that's right considering this is the only example of that emotion I have seen…" Frayrsis continued.

Night Silver thought about it for a moment and then connected the dots in her mind. I do have some rather devout followers. "Well, it's about time we go and pick them up. If we wait much longer, it'll be too late to set up the village here properly." She said, placing her hands on her hips and smiling cheerfully.
