In the wall a woman with red hair could be seen looking at the mission board. It was the one that helped Kai get his Warrior license. She was seeing the taken mission when suddenly her eyes fell on the mission Kai took.

"Wait, this mission hasn't been updated for a month and why is it still here for this long? Any low rank party could have requested it" she then tapped on the board and transferred the mission to her tablet.

She went to the desk and started to run an update on the quest. But upon seeing the information her eyes almost popped out of her face.

"This information states that one of the low rank beasts mutated into a medium tier. But what's truly frightening is that a high tier beast is roaming close to the coast. A juvenile Gap Tigris" she then rushed to see who had taken the request and her face darkened.

The name she read was one she heard earlier today. "With his current strength he'll at least be able to fend off the medium tier but if the Gap Tigris appears he will die. I need to let him now" she ran to a changing room before putting a chest plate on and rushed through the gate.

Meanwhile on the beach

Kai was facing the Gap Tigris. They're eyes locked on and they were waiting to see who would make the first move.

"Of all the creatures it could have hit it had to be one of this caliber" Kai said as a drop of sweat ran down the side of his head.

He shook his head and focused on what was in front of him. Suddenly he received a notification from the system.

"Gold? That's right I have a shop, I'll check it out after I get out of this situation" he said.

[Second Step]

Kai appeared in front of the beast in the blink of an eye. He then uppercutted the big cat, its body lifted slightly before it disappeared and reappeared behind Kai. Who crossed his arms in the form of an X to cover himself.

*Boom*

The power was increased and his huge frontal paws weren't for show. Upon impact Kai was sent flying as he crashed into the sand. It didn't stop there the beast pounced on Kai trying to finish him off.

[Fire Stream]

Kai's right hand sparked before it exploded with fire pushing his body to the left. The Gap Tigris landed on the sand with a dissatisfied look. Kai stood up and smiled at it.

"Every time he teleports his horns glow slightly, thanks to my eyes I can see it". He said before charging in with a fireball in each of his hands. He threw them at the beast. Who teleports back avoiding the fireballs. But it was a surprise with a stinging pain on his ribs.

It teleported again before it took a glance at his right side, claws like would could be seen and blood started to pour on the floor. The beast looked at Kai who's right gauntlet was decorated with blood.

"I know your pattern," Kai said while the red glow in his eyes intensified.

The beast's eyes filled with anger as it teleported towards Kai.

*Boom*

A shockwave happens upon contact. Kai was holding the Gap Tigris by its deer-like horns. Kai Gripped hot tighter as the beast tried to get himself free. Kai then twisted the horn the opposite way the beast was pulling, it made the tigris lose its balance and fell on the hog sand.

*Roar*

It roared in anger, Kai then stepped on the horns and pulled.

*Crack*

The horns broke or made a sound similar to glass breaking. The beast roared in pain before it glared at Kai bluish blood was dripping from his horns and onto his face.

Kai then proceeded to straighten his finger as if his hand was a sword. He swung his arm towards the beast, it pierced right into his rib cage.

*Roar*

A quick roar of pain was released from the beas but it was also the last. Kai had already gripped its head while the beast was distracted by the pain. He then pulled and twisted its neck with all his strength.

*Crack*

The Gap Tigris dropped to the floor dead. Kai was breathing heavily, the glow in his eyes died and he rubbed his eyes slightly. His vision was a little blurry, since the glow in his eyes enhanced them. They were trying to adjust to normal again.

"I think I overdid it, it wasn't as strong as the Abomination but back then I had help" He said.

But he quickly turned around upon feeling a powerful aura. He frowned as he looked into the distance, that's when he saw a human figure approaching him.

It was a red-haired woman who stood opposite to him a few feet away. She looked at the beast and widened her eyes.

Kai recognized this person and it was the one that helped him get the license. He saw her surprise expression, he then looked at the beast and smiled.

"If you're wondering how I killed it. The beast was already hurt" Kai lied to avoid unnecessary attention.

He had to focus on leveling up and getting stronger. If he becomes a big shot then the orders will get involved and will try to recruit him. Some of the orders were wicked enough to kill him if they didn't get him.

"I see, it's still impressive. Let me introduce myself, I'm Astrid Witherstar" she said.
