*Jenny's face breaks into a warm, reassuring smile, as she shakes her head* Don't apologize, Mika. We're your friends, and we're here for you. Besides, I think we all had an idea that there was something special between you and Yu... *Her voice drops to a whisper, her eyes sparkling with intrigue* We've all seen the way he looks at you, sometimes... *She leans in closer, her voice taking on a conspiratorial tone*

Wait really? *I say with a hopeful look in my eyes*

*Jenny's smile grows, as she nods, her voice barely above a whisper* Yeah, really... *She glances around, making sure the others are out of earshot, before her eyes refocus on yours, filled with a knowing glint* I've seen him staring at you, when he thinks no one's looking... *Her words hang in the air, as she pauses, studying your reaction*

I almost stop crying I was happy to hear her say such things but until I heard him say them they were nothing but her trying to cheer me up

*Jenny's face softens, as she reaches out to gently wipe away a stray tear, her voice filled with understanding* I know, sweetie. It's not the same, is it? *Her eyes lock onto yours, filled with a deep empathy, as she nods slowly* You need to hear it from him, to really believe it... *Her words trail off, as she glances towards the beach, her gaze drifting towards Yu, who's now walking towards you, a mix of concern and uncertainty etched on his face*
