Chapter 1 The Raging Storm

A violent storm, millions upon millions of tiny black particles pulsing with chaotic energy flowed out of large open holes in space that both filled the cloudy sky above and blocked out any sunlight from reaching the land below. The millions of particles spiraled like a tornado around a singular figure who was hovering high in the sky just in front of a massive multi coloured flame that pulsed like a beating heart.

"This should do it" the figure who was obviously Suu muttered with a tired expression.

"It took several weeks of constant work and long preparations but I finally managed to finish it after all this time" Suu hummed with a small smile appearing on her face.

"Time for the final step" Suu stretched before sending out a magical command from her mind. As she did, all the particles that had been surrounding her and spiraling above the island suddenly surged downwards along with the flame that Suu had been standing in front of.

Suu watched with her soul sight active as the millions of black particles spread throughout the island infecting and transforming everything they came across from the smallest piece of dirt to the tallest tree, even the creatures and people that were currently on the island were swarmed by the seemingly endless stream of particles that poured out from the dozens of rips in space. The flame on the other hand directly flew through the ground to the very centre of the island before beginning to change and spread out in all directions quickly filling the whole island with invisible and intangible veins of energy. 

The island itself as well as most of the life that covered it had already begun to rapidly change and adapt to the new foreign energy that began to fill them. The once green landscape became a mixture of white, grey and black, it all looked very similar to the landscape that you could find within the abyss. The few remaining living creatures that still called the island their home were also beginning to transform into much more monstrous versions of themselves with even some of the plants becoming monsters and unique magical variance as well.

The humans, elves and dwarf that had agreed to join Suu also started to change. For the humans, their skin became an incredibly pale white, their eyes became a pale blue, deer like antlers sprouted from their heads and their hair either became black, white or grey. The changes to the elves was a little less noticeable, dark blood red markings appeared all over the bodies with their hair becoming the same colour as the markings. Finally, the dwarfs didn't change all that much, however, their skin did turn a dark purple and they became slightly more muscular.

It was then that the whole island began to shake causing terrifying earthquakes to destroy the surrounding area as massive fissures opened up at the very edges of the land mass. Soon after an amazing event happened, the dozens of kilometres of land that made up the island began to rise up into the air causing the surrounding seas to become even more violent than they already were previously. Black particles began to spin around the whole bottom part of the island as it rose up creating a ring that surrounded the entire land mass and from this ring something like an eye began to form.

As the transformation neared its end something interesting yet horrifying happened, massive tendrils that had to be several kilometres long ripped out of dozens of places along the bottom of the island, they were made of muscle, flesh and bone. Suu had used the thousands of cultist corpses that had been collected over the course of the war, along with a large amount of black blood to turn the island into an organic creature and this fact was only backed up when a mouth filled with thousands of disturbing looking teeth ripped open at the centre of the under part of the island. Overall Suu's new creation looked like a fleshy kaiju sized jellyfish that was using the island like a protective shell.

"Finally...done..."

"That..." I panted ever so slightly as I slowly floated downwards and lay on the ground.

"That was far more exhausting than I had originally anticipated it was going to be"  I sighed while rubbing my forehead.

"I need a vacation" I muttered as I pulled up my status while resting

"A lot has happened in the four months I've been away huh..." 

I had not only waged and won a war against an army of psychotic cultist but I had also freed thousands of slaves, I had also took time to use the Abyssal wrecks to send some of them back to their homes. Not all of them wanted or had a home to go back to and a large number of them were the original inhabitants of the island, so I've been helping with rebuilding their homes as well.

"That...that was pretty amazing I got to admit" I had already noticed them a while ago but it was only when Mika and the others finally reached me and Mika spoke did I look over at them.

"As expected of my queen" Elizabeth praised, causing me to mutter to myself about people always calling me weird things instead of, you know, just using my actual bloody name.

"Just because your a fucking island doesn't mean you're better then me you bastard!" Yama yelled while stomping his foot on the ground angrily.

"Idiot" Rai hissed in his usual crackly sounding voice.

"What did you say you damn flashlight?!" 

"See, you're such an idiot you can't even understand when someone is insulting you" Rai responded with a shrug and a smug look in his eyes.

"You're both idiots" Kaen sighed while quickly stopping the two from fighting each other like children.

(Those three never change) I smiled as I watched the three until I noticed a surprisingly sober looking Haruko who was currently studying the surrounding plant life that had changed significantly.

"I see that Haruko is sober for once"

"In-indeed..." Vel, who was close to me, responded. Both Vel and Haruko had changed somewhat as they had recently asked to become Abyssal creatures, Haruko's hair and scales had become a much darker shade of green and Vel's horns had become an obsidian black and he had  grown small bat-like wings.

"B-by the wa-way I-" Vel tried to say but stopped when we noticed Haruko almost immediately pulled a glass bottle filled with green liquid seemingly out of nowhere before chugging it in one go.

"...Why?" I asked while facepalming.

"What do you mean why the answer to that is so simple to get more work done of course I need lots of energy and the miraculous potion that my dear boy Vel has created gives me just that anyway I just have to get to work and begin studying this fascinating creature I've never seen anything like it before in my life and I have seen a lot in my lifetime just how does something of this size even work does it have internal organs you did use the bodies of the cult to make it after all very resourceful use of resources by the way also how does if eat I mean to should take an astronomical amount of food to feed a creature of this magnitude I simply must know" 

"God damn it" I muttered as I watched as Haruko ran off to begin studying my newest creation.

"S-sir please wa-waiit...wait for m-me"

(I really need to find where he hides all those damn potions) I thought with a shake of my head.

"By the way Mistress, do you plan to name your newest creation" Fuyuko asked for good reason as recently I just got done naming all my subordinates except for the ones that already had names like the Wraiths, a task that nearly drove me insane by the way. I also didn't name most of the more animalistic members of the Hive as there was not much point.

"Later, I'm exhausted right now"

"Understood" Fuyuko simply nodded at that.

"Fuyuko"

"Yes?" 

"Begin preparations, it's time to get moving"

"I shall spread the word, I'm sure Haruko will be happy to finally get to explore a new dimension" she nodded in understanding and immediately turned to get to work.

"At least it will get him out of our hair for a bit" Fuyuko said, sounding quite happy about that before turning and leaving.

"It's finally time, time to head back to Tempest"
