The Adventure begins!

The day of our departure finally came, I woke up pretty early to prepare the Curry powder and stock it somewhere in our house so that Father can make Curry and continue running Luna's curry along with the other branches that Mr. Diego made.

I Called father and told him that I would be stocking Twenty Containers filled with Curry powder at our house's basement. Father nodded and thanked me as usual for helping our family regain it's nobility status.

Father also told me that we'll be escorted by his Old comrade. Jin Rivers, A Knight of Emperium Capital. He was a former Soldier just like my father before the war ended. But unlike my Father, he wasn't a noble, So he continued on working as a Soldier for the Emperium up until he got promoted to his current status. Now He is ranked among the Highly trained Elite Knights that Emperium is so proud of.

Emperium Knights had twenty three squads assembled from lowest to higher ranking, The status can be defined by their achievements and talent.

Jin Rivers who excel at swordsmanship piqued the interest of the Sword Saint Gallard. The Strongest Swordsman of all Emperium. He got under Gallard's teachings and manifested the teachings he learned. Now he is among the Knights of rounds where only eight Knights are able to join.

The Round table, Eight Strongest Knights of Emperium are called the Knights of rounds, That are in the so called Round Table Squad.

Jin Rivers is also among those eight individuals. He is the Seventh Knight of Rounds.

He is one of the closest companions my father ever had, That's why when Jin heard that my father was looking for an Escort, He immediately volunteered.

'So we'll just have to wait for Jin, he'll be coming here later before lunch.'

'Okay father, Should I make Gold coins for you? Incase of emergency?'

I could not believe that Diane's father was a famous swordsman from Aldien, I guess even though they're not As rich as us or had the Nobility title like us. They still gave the best impression throughout the entire Erendale to be known this well.

My father smiled as I received the gift he gave me. Then I did the ritual for bounding and It disappeared when I think of "Hide" And It appears at my hand When I think of "Sword". That's how the Magic Sword worked. I was really grateful to father on giving this magnificent weapon to me.

Then I was all set to depart, After some time, Hailey already finished packing and was already set to depart as well. We only had to wait for the Escort.

Then a carriage was heard outside, I immediately went out to see who was it, I saw a guy riding infront of the carriage, holding the ropes that tied the horse. A guy wearing full plate armor, But not just some ordinary full plate armor.

It was different than the ones that i've seen so far.

A full plate armor covered in Silver lining all over it.

A Symbol of The Round Table was seen at the Chest. It was an outstanding armor, If it were to be seen on any cosplay events in my previous world, It'll surely take the champion's sit.

After the guy settled the horse, He came down and removed his Helmet. Blonde hair sparkled as he removed the helmet, His Thick brows and Handsome eyes elevated through the entire parts of his face.

A Truly handsome Man, maybe he is the same age as my father since they were companions.

'Hello child, You must be luna? It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Jin Rivers, Your escort and your father's greatest comrade. So call me Uncle from now on okay? Haha!'

Seeing him act like this, I get that how my father and him got along pretty well....

'Okay Uncle Jin, It's nice to meet you too. Please take care of us while we travel.'

Soon my family alongside Diane and hailey came out from the house.

They greeted one another, Father thanked Jin for volunteering to escort us, Since he doesn't need to worry, since it's him that's escorting us.

My father and Uncle Jin talked alot and laughed alot. My mother and Auntie didn't care since they already knew that they were like that.

Then after their conversation, Uncle Jin said his goodbyes, and Me and hailey as well.

Then we went inside the Carriage and started departing.

As we got further, I saw my mother waving at me from the gate of our house. I also waved back towards her, Seeing her like that really tighten my heart.

I didn't knew that getting far away from someone you treasured would hurt like this.

But I didn't have the time to think about those, Since the time when I become an adult would come.

"Notice, Do you want to Activate Mask?"

I guess this is the effect of the Mask.

Then we finally left Nero town...

We entered the forest of Emma that's next to Nero Town. We'll be passing through the forest to reach our next destination, Lindon town.

Where the Jeager family resides, But my father wasn't really accepted by his relatives since he was made the next head of the Jeager family.

The other Jeagers didn't want to accept it, Since my father was abit immature. But the former Head of the Jeager Household saw leadership on my father, He saw an immature child at the outside. But a very responsible one in the inside, That's why he chose my father as the Next head. Even though he wasn't his son, but just a nephew, Seeing my father's potential gave him what he is now, After he became the Head, He was given the Nero Town to manage. And that's how it ends...

Traveling from Nero town to Lindon Town would take half a day with carriage and a full day by feet.

But as we traveled, Uncle didn't stop talking the whole time. He told us different kinds of stories from his previous achievements that it suddenly got boring. Hailey used wind magic to cover her ears and took a nap.

But me who could only cast attack spells and couldn't use any spells like her, was suffering from uncle's stories.

'Hey, Millis Do my Skills also rank up like the Arts?'

"Yes, They do. The more you understand the foundation of the Skills, The more it'll rank up."

I can't tell her that I wasted my precious childhood time at the Study hall. I might be a child at the outside but I'm more mature on the inside, Instead of playing around outside, I was more immersed on learning things from this world.

And I was curious about the world I was living in.

'Umm, You see... My mother didn't want me to play outside, She wanted me to study and read books.'

'Young kids should play outside more often rather than studying like an adult! Haha!'

Uncle then continued to tell us some of his heroic acts from his previous achievements, And so on it continued up until we reached Lindon Town safely.

'So this is Lindon? It kinda looks more modern than Nero.'

'Ofcourse it does, Nero is the poorest town after all. Hahaha!'

'Luna, Don't worry about what Sir Jin said, Nero just faced some difficulties back then. I'm sure It'll be different now.'

'You're right about that Hailey, Now my nephew Luna don't be sad and follow me. We'll look for someplace to stay. Haha!'

And so we roamed around the streets of Lindon, We found different kinds of stalls, Bars, Markets and lastly the Inns. We surveyed different kinds of Inns, and searched for the cheaper ones. But I told Uncle that he doesn't need to mind the prices since I had alot of money.

But only Hailey knew about it...

Uncle didn't really had enough money to let us spend in a cozy and expensive inn since he volunteered to escort us without any payments and expense money as well.

'It's okay luna! Uncle will find a comfortable place that'll be cheap and nice. Haha!'

'Don't worry about the cost uncle. Here, Use this for our expenses.' As I handed him a bag filled with one hundred gold coins.

'One--one--One hundred Gold coins!!!? Where did you get this?!' As uncle asked me with a shocked expression.

'Umm, you know our new restaurant right? I just earned it from there. Hehe! No need to worry and use it. We have a girl with us, It's best to find a better Inn.'

'Okay Luna, Thanks. You really think like a gentleman huh? With those pretty face of yours I'm sure hailey would go head over heels for you! Hahahaha!'

'Shut up uncle! Hailey might hear yo--'

And so we found an Inn to stay for the night.

It was a huge room, had three bedrooms and a living space along side two bathrooms. But the cost was pretty high too. But money doesn't bother me now since I could just make it. Haha!

After taking a bath, we were already ready to go out and buy something to eat. But after stepping out from the Inn, I saw an awful familiar face infront of me...

'It's been a while nephew.'

Yes, It was the one that betrayed my father, His relative, Jeremy Jeager.

'Hello uncle, It's a pleasure to meet you here.'

Uncle Jeremy then looked at the Inn that we had came from and noticed that it was an expensive one.

'My little nephew got to stay for the night at this magnificent and expensive Inn? I guess money doesn't worry your family now?'

Hearing his words made me abit angry, Insulting our Status indirectly by using this kind of sentence makes me want to punch him in the face.

But I can't show that right now, I'm surrounded by many people including Uncle Jin and Hailey...

I should act nicely towards this bastard Uncle.

'After our business went well, And followed along by the successful branches. I guess it made us a little more carefree.'

'Ohh, I guess carefree is the right term. Anyways, Why don't you tell your uncle the recipe now? Hehe. I'll pay you a hefty amount ofcourse.'

Uncle Jin and Hailey's expressions changed. I knew they felt insulted by Uncle jeremy's words. Trying to buy our Family's main source of income.

'I'm sorry uncle but I don't really need gold now. So I have to decline your offer. But thankyou for Offering. So we'll be heading first, since my companions are pretty hungry after our long travel from Nero.'

I then bowed and started walking away from Uncle Jeremy. But I'm pretty sure he got mad at me this time for rejecting him the second time.

'Luna that was a very good response! I like your guts!'

'Haha, no need to praise me Uncle.'

Then we started looking for good restaurants around Lindon...

Jeremy Jeager didn't stopped after that embarrassment.

'Hey, Alfonse! Call some Mercenaries and make sure to kidnap that brat! We'll make sure he spills out the Recipe for that Curry.'

'Okay Master.' As the butler of Jeremy bowed while speaking.

'You Just watch you brat! I'll make sure to torture you well! Kekekeke!' As Jeremy spoke while seeing us walk away further to the town....
