Tests of love

 Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz.

The sound of the alarm woke Alisha up. She groaned,

"It's another day for job hunting."

Alisha went to the bathroom, freshened up, and got dressed. 

Her phone rang, and bestie was written on the screen.

"Good morning Alisha, where is your next hunting?", Stacey chuckled on the phone.

"Argh, not again this morning Stacey.

I planned to stay over at your place tonight, I am going for an interview in Turner's company tomorrow"

"Oh my god, you mean the no. 1 best company in California"

"Yes. Bye, see you later; I have an interview today."

Alisha rushed outside her apartment and booked a cab.

She got to the restaurant, breathed, went to the reception, and told the lady she came for the interview. The receptionist referred her to the director's office. 

Alisha was exhausted from today's  Interview. She loved cooking, but her dream is to be an employee in Turner's company and Hayden's wife.

A blast of warm, coconut-scented air greeted Alisha when the door opened to Stacey's apartment. After Stacey ushered Alisha inside, Stacey shut and locked the door behind her.

"About time you arrived"

Alisha glared at Stacey, "Don't pretend as you waited for my arrival"

"Of course I did. How was your interview?"

Alisha explained to Stacey what happened. Alisha told Stacey that she didn't want the job and she behaved like she had no idea about cooking.

"Oh no Alisha, you loved cooking and that was the perfect job for you"

"Yes, I know. If I was serious, I would be the new chef. I want to be an employee in Turner's company, that's why I turned it down indirectly"

She mouthed "Oh". Alisha went to the kitchen to prepare lunch. Alisha didn't eat when she left her apartment. 

They ate, watched movies, and went to bed.

Alisha walked down the rail with her crush, Hayden, flowers sprayed on them. It was the most beautiful moment she had ever experienced. They got to the altar, where the pastor would bring them together for life. 

They said their vows and It was time for Hayden to kiss her. Alisha was excited, she pouted her lips towards Hayden, her heart throbbing.

"Alisha, Alisha", Stacey called Alisha.

Alisha woke up and realized it was a dream. It was the sweetest dream ever. She groaned out loud and glared at Stacey.

"What's wrong? Why are you staring at me like that?" 

Alisha told Stacey that she had the sweetest dream ever with Hayden, and a blush crept up on her cheeks while thinking about that moment.

Stacey hissed and showed Alisha the time.

"Come back to your senses Alisha, you will be late for the interview".

"Oh my god, it's late already", Alisha rushed to the bathroom, freshened up, and got dressed. She rushed out of the apartment, running because she didn't want to miss the time of the interview.

Alisha got to the company, amazed at the sight of the building. She breathed out and mustered up her courage. Alisha went in and did her interview.

Alisha was down after the interview because she was not sure if her interview went well. On her way home, she felt a tap on her shoulder. Alisha turned back and froze at the spot. Her breath hissed, her heart thumping fast.

"What are you doing here Alisha?" Hayden asked, curious.

She blushed hard and bit her lips, "Uhh, I came here for the interview, I told you about it"

"Oh yes. How was it? Are you fine, your cheeks are red", he touched Alisha's face.

Alisha hiccuped when he touched her face. She pushed him slightly so she wouldn't pass out at that moment because she couldn't breathe well. 

"It didn't go well and what are you doing here?"

Hayden told Alisha that he wanted to get lunch at a nearby restaurant and he assured Alisha that she would get hired.

They walked together, talked, and laughed. Alisha looked at his face and wondered why she couldn't stop liking him. "Perhaps because he is amusing", she muttered to herself and bid him goodbye.

Alisha got to Stacey's apartment, looking so tired. She relaxed on the bed, thinking about Hayden and smiling.

Stacey entered Alisha's room and asked if Alisha got the job because Alisha looked excited.

Alisha got out of her trance. She told Stacey about her meeting with Hayden today and talked about their conversation while blushing.

"Hayden, Hayden, Hayden. Alisha, it's about time you stop having feelings for him, you know he has a girlfriend", Stacey said, glaring at Alisha.

"I tried to forget him, Stacey, but I promise I will stop my feelings for him"

"Fine, if you say so. How was the interview?" 

Alisha told her she wasn't sure if they would give her the job.

"Don't worry girl, you are my Alisha, and you have never failed once", Stacey smiled at her.

The next morning, Alisha's phone rang, she whined at the sound of her phone. "Argh, who is calling me this morning?" Alisha took her phone and picked up the call.

"Hello, who is this?" she said, yawning.

"Good morning Miss Alisha, this is Reina from Turner's company, you have been employed as the CEO Secretary, please check your email for the requirements, thanks." She cut the call.

Alisha widened her eyes and squirmed excitedly after she heard those words and she ran to Stacey's room.

"Stacey, Stacey, I got the job," Alisha jumped with happiness.

Stacey looked at her, smiling.

"I told you, Alisha, you have never failed once. I am happy for you Alisha," Stacey hugged Alisha.

Alisha checked her email for the requirements. She has to resume work on Monday.

"Alisha, I think you should rent an apartment close by since your apartment is far from your work"

"Oh I thought about it, but I will stay here for a while, and when it's the weekend I will go back to mine. I want to save some money to rent a new apartment."

"I was hired as the CEO's secretary"

"What! How come you got that position?"
