shock

Zach stretched his tensed muscles as he tried hard to ignore the loud growls from his stomach.

"How long have I been meditating for?"

Zach wondered as it finally hit him,

"Why did the system not log me out?"

Before meditation,he still had two days left until the mandatory log out,but from the hunger and his tensed muscles,he caculated that more than two days had gone by, probably a week had passed.

The system parameters would forcefully log out users who went past their time limit, but it did not for Zach.

Quickly accessing his settings,Zach scrolled down to the log out icon and pressed on it,only for him to receive a system failure notification.

"What!"

Zach was shocked by the failed attempts at logging out.

A painful headache assaulted him and his vision blacked out as his body fell on the grassy plane.

Ten days later,a numb Zach gained conscious. His body was covered in dew and his muscles ached like hell.

He had a splinting headache and his stomach was assaulted by pangs of hunger.

He wanted nothing more than diving into an ocean of food.

Looking around,he saw the smoked meat hung on racks and dove towards them, the meat was already smoked and could be eaten as it was.

He tore into several chunks of meat and a pot of water before his hunger and thirst could be certified.

"That was insane..."

Zach thought as he lay on the grassy plane, massaging his now bulging stomach as he took deep breath to calm his headache.

"What's happening?"

"Why does it feel like am forgetting something?"

Zach thought as he had this certain feeling of emptiness within his mind,it was as if a certain part of his memories we're wiped out.

All he knew was that he had to establish a territory.

He had no recorrection of his previous life or identity,to him,he was local of this world. But where he was born and raised,he did not know.

Several hours passed as he lay on the ground, arranging his thoughts and planning on a way forward.

He was surprised by the amount of knowledge he had but he could recall learning any of it.

The other surprise he had was the existence of a system within him, though a basic one.

The third surprise he received was his cultivation realm,he had directly broken through to the low stage foundation establishment realm from low stage spirit gathering realm. What he did not know was that this breakthrough happened after his real body integrated with his avatar, after the system server failure.

In short, his real body had been transmigrated into this world and the memories of his previous identity and the system failure were sealed.

While, with all these resources,I guess it is time I establish myself.

He had enough grain to feed a hundred people for a several weeks, and with the forest being close by, gathering of vegetables, fruits and herbs won't be a challenge.

Same was to be said for meat,as there were hundreds of common beasts and tens of spirit beasts within his demarcated territory boundars.

"So where do I start..."

Zach thought as he looked at the available building resources.

"To trigger the camp building quest,I have to build at least one structure..."

Zach recalled from his memories...

"But first,I need to open these two treasure chests..."

There were two iron chests that were not opened, these were rewards from his breakthrough into both the spirit qi gathering realm and the foundation establishment realm.

"Finally!"

"Some much needed iron..."

"With this,I can forge iron weapons for the guards,as for armor, the hide will do for now..."

"As for these foundation stabilizing pills,I don't need them for now as my foundation seems stable..."

"The spirit qi gathering pills, though low ranked, will be aid later on..."

Picking a suitable area,Zach put his mysterious knowledge into use. He laid down the foundation for a cabin.

It had a basement,a front room,a kitchen,an inhouse washroom,a study room,a bedroom and a storage room that was twice the size of the front room.

He used the stones to line the walls of the basement and the cabins floor. As for the walls,he used the bricks and wood.

The roof was grass thatched. He had cut the grass and dried it.

As for the doors and windows, they were all made from wood.

All this took him a week to complete,he had taken this long as he spent some time building furniture.

His tools were basic and crudely made from smelting the iron ores and molding them into several desired tools.

He had made a set of carpentry iron tools that increased his efficiency. He even smithed hundred of iron nails and a dozen iron hinges.

The area around his complete cabin was littered with sets of tables, furniture, beds, shelves, racks and a couple of work benches.

There was also a pile of wooden utensils at one corner.

All these were covered with dew as they had been in the open for long.

Luckily for Zach, his foundation establishment realm was enough to scare both the common and spirit beasts from mendling in his affairs.

The moment he was done,a string of system notification popped up.

"So everything will be evaluated within seven days.."

Zach calculated the time and in the end,was confident enough that he could manage to establish a peak ranked camp within those seven days, that is if he worked day and night. Thankfully for him,his cultivation could cope up with all the work.

But first,he needed to fill his stomach, and since he had a dozen pots with him,he opted for a vegetable broth with roasted meat and bread.

He had modified a part of the forge to act as an oven, and baked himself several loaves of bread.

After a hearty meal,he sat down to cultivate for several hours, increasing the amount of spirit qi drops in his dantian to thirty-five percent.
