Lizardman Chief

I was training for a little while with my sword, trying out it's attacks.

And Soei talked to me in thought communication.

Rimuru - "What's wrong?"

Soei - "I've completed my talks with the lizardmen chief.

Rimuru - "Nice, how did it go?"

Soei - "It went well."

Soei continued his report by explaining what happened.

He headed to the lizardmen territory, for the lizardmen chief. He 'warned' them of his approach by expelling his aura, He then met with the lizardmen chief.

He stated his name and that i wanted an alliance with them. The lizardmen chief asked about that is the cause of the orc's movements. Soei then stated that i received a direct request to deal with an Orc Lord that is leading the orcs.

Soei explained that it was a Dryad who requested, causing the lizardmen in the room shaking. The surrounding lizardmen refused to believe Soei but the chief calmed them down and stated his interest in the alliance with me.

They settle on joining me in seven days, and the lizardmen will play defensive until then.

Soei - "And, that's what happened."

Rimuru - "I see, Good work, come back safe."

Soei - "Understood."

And, the connection disappeared.

Anyway, the time both orc armies will meet back up at the marshlands are a few days. The main orc army is trying to take out the lizardmen while the orc detachment hasn't joined up yet. But now that the lizardmen are playing defensively, things should work out.

Anyway, i had Soei continue monitor the lizardmen for a few days. The lizardmen chief did his job by having the lizardmen fight a defensive battle. They used the natural mazes of their caves to trap them. They made sure that no one died until i arrived with help.

Anyway, the chapter will stop here. I'm quite surprised about the amount of views i got despite this novel being made for fun.
