As Helena got up in the morning, today in Mark's bed, she rubbed her eyes as she looked to the man beside her. They've been sleeping seeing each other for almost a three weeks now, always in secret. It wasn't just sex either, they'd have room service dates and park strolls, becoming more affectionate as time went by.

"Morning." The girl pressed a kiss to the man's lips, in order to wake him up.

He groaned, as a complaint, before letting out. "Morning, sweetheart." He kissed her back, sighing. "Nope, not good morning. I'm going back to sleep."

"Oh, that's a shame because I was just going to go have a shower." She said, getting up from bed, just in her underwear. "And I though, you know, to save water and everything, maybe you'd like to join?" She smiled at him, as the man got up quickly.

"Yeah, I'm up. not tired anymore." He rubbed his eyes, making Helena giggle as the two entered the bathroom.

However, as soon as Helena looked at herself in the mirror, her face fell, as she gasped and her eyes widened. "Mark Sloan! You gave me a hickey!" She hit his arm.

"Ouch." The man let out.

"No, no for you. I'm a medical professional, a responsible young woman... a-a surgical resident! I do not..." She hit him again. "... go to work..." Once more. "... with hickeys!" She smacked him one more time, the man simultaneously wincing at the movement and giggling.

"Sorry, doll. Can you blame me though, when  you look like " The man asked her, turning to press a kiss to her lips once more.

"You know what? No more shower time for you." The girl raised a brow and walked out of the bathroom, ready to get dressed for the day.

"Oh, come on, Lee!" He shouted after her, pouting at the lack of an answer, now alone in the bathrooms. Sighing, he whispered to himself, like a little kid that didn't get to have more candy. "Not fair."

That morning, as Helena and Cristina stood towards the back of the elevator, Meredith asked Derek.

"How are you today?" At that, both Cristina and Helena looked up from what they were reading.

"Good." The man answered.

"Great."

The two girl shared a look, and, as they left the elevator, Cristina told her. "She's doing McDreamy."

"She's doing McDreamy and about it." Helena nodded as she spoke, raising a brow.

"Does she thinks I'm weak, fragile? That I can't handle it because of Burke?" Cristina rolled her eyes. However, a few seconds after, she noticed something on her friends neck, gasping. "have a hickey!"

"What?" The girl rushed to readjust her shirt, cursing the concealer that must have smeared off. "I... a hic- I do have a hickey! Don't be ridiculous." She muttered as she blushed.

"Oh, you so do." Cristina giggled. "You, Baby Einstein, the responsible one, got yourself a hickey. Now I just have to find out who gave it to you."

"Cristina Yang! I do not have a hickey! But if you tell anyone what you you saw but totally didn't I will physically hurt you, understood?" The girl threatened, continually looking down to her shirt to make sure it covered the mark, her face completely flushed.

After reapplying her make up and making absolutely sure her hickey wouldn't come out to play again, Helena stood with her interns.

"Ok, assignments, people. Collins, you're in the pit with one of Karev's interns, Howard, you're in the clinic and Taylor, you're with me today. Any questions?" She asked, giving them a smile, as the interns shook their heads, leaving to do their tasks.

"Dr. C, what are we on today?" Monica Taylor asked her.

"We are scrubbing in on a gastric bypass at 11 and just handling some post ops. You haven't been on one before, have you?" The intern shook her head negatively. "Ok, then, please go make sure the Mr. Watson is informed on the surgery and then read up on it. I'll page you when it's time to bring him to pre-op. Oh, and if you need me..." She instructed.

"Don't be afraid to page you, I know." The girl smiled at her. "Thanks for letting me watch this one, Dr. C, I'll go read my butt off."

Helena giggled as her intern left, genuinely enjoying the process of teaching them. Getting a page from Izzie, she rushed to Charlie's room, finding Meredith and Alex doing the same.

"Welcome back." Meredith told the patient in front of them.

"Is it true really old guy woke up?" Alex asked.

"He's called Charlie." Helena smacked his shoulders

"This time tomorrow you can call me really dead guy." The man said as Izzie examined him, Helena's eyes widening slightly.

"Guys, I don't know Mr. Yost knows who you are." The blond told them.

"Sure I do!" The old man spoke up. "That's Meredith. Her and the brain doctor are always running hot and cold. And you're Alex. You still got a think for that old patient of yours? And that one there is my favorite, Lena, the only one that calls me by my name. She's the one that has to mother you all, the really smart one with the pretty laugh."

"Aw, thanks, Charlie." The short girl smiled down at him. "See, I've just met you and you're my favorite too."

"I was semicomatosed, blondie, I could still hear you guys."

——

After helping Taylor take care of their pre op, watching with a proud smile as the intern worked, she went down to the clinic, helping out since she has some free time.

After taking care of a few patients, Bailey turned to her. "Helena, they need me in the ER, I've gotta run there for a while. Can you take care of the clinic while I'm there? Don't let these burn it to the ground." The resident asked.

"Yes, I've got it, you can go." The girl smiled up from her chart, reassuringly.

Another patient taken care of, she felt Lexie's eyes on her, the girl having walked through the doors a few minutes ago.

"Hum... can I help you, Dr. Grey?" The resident spoke up, as she charted.

"Dr. Grey send me down here to work in the clinic." She said, seemingly nervous. "Yeah, she didn't wanna work with me anymore so she kicked me out. And I know you are her friend, I mean... I have... I have seen you sit with her and... and talk to her and the nurses say you're like... best friends. And she's my sister. She's my sister and she hates me, and she hates our father and she... she obviously hates our mother so... well, my sister hates me. And I was wondering, you know, if you knew why she hates me. Because I... I obviously don't want her to hate me. I mean she my sister, after all." Lexie took a deep breath in, after finishing her rant.

Helena watched the girl, throughout her rant, with a mix of amusement and confusion, her eyes dancing over her face. "Ok, Lexie. Can I call you Lexie?" The resident asked with a smile, this girl in front of her relaxing a little as she nodded.

"Look, I know Meredith and I don't think she hates you, she simply doesn't know you. And I know for a that she didn't not hate your mother. Meredith is a hard person to get to know, and don't tell her I told you that, but she hasn't exactly gotten this whole family thing down. So, Lexie, I'm sure she doesn't hate you, she simply doesn't know how to have a sister. Just give it time." Helena told her, her motherly advice clearly calming down the girl. The resident was also clearly amused with the slightly childish personality the older girl seemed to have.

Lexie exhaled in relief at the resident's words. "Thank you, Dr. Campos."

"Now, if I'm going to be calling you Lexie, it's only fair you call me Helena. When we aren't working, I mean." Helena smiled at the girl in front of her.

"Wow. You're nice." She let out. "I mean, I was starting to think it was, like, physically impossible for residents to be nice." At that, the resident giggled. "Would you maybe, you know... I don't have a lot of friends in the program, being Meredith's sister and all and... and you are younger than me and everything which is awesome... so, hum, well... would you wanna maybe get a drink sometime?"

"Sure, Lexie, it'd be a pleasure. Now, do you want to help me with Mr. Nguyen over there?" The girl closed her chart, approaching a bed on the clinic, Lexie following shortly behind.

"Good afternoon, I am Dr. Campos but you can call me Dr. C if you want and this is Dr. Grey. We're going to me your doctors today. What brings you here?"

——

At the end on the day, Helena came home to Cristina and Meredith getting drunk on their couch.

"Oh, yes, Baby Einstein! Now instead of talking about our stupid problems we can talk about how she has a hickey." Cristina cheered, already slightly tipsy, as she nudged Meredith.

The blond gasped, her voice high pitched as she spoke, as the short girl took of her jacket. "A hickey? has a hickey?!"

"Oh, just shut up about it already. If you get to sleep with Derek without talking about it, I get to have a hickey." Helena flopped down on the couch next to them, taking a small sip of their tequila.

"You knew too?" Meredith asked.

"We've known since this morning." Cristina deadpanned.

"Yeah, I know everything." Helena joked, the three falling into a comfortable silence for a while. Suddenly, she spoke up again, after taking another small sip of tequila. "I'm going to tell you something and it won't leave this room." The other two girls looked at her, intently listening. "I've been seeing Mark for almost three weeks now. That's where I've been staying sometimes, not the hospital."

"Mark?" Meredith asked. "As in ?"

"Oh, wow." Cristina chuckled.

"I know, I know... but, listen, I actually really like him. And he's sweet with me, not just flirty, but actually sweet. It feels right while I'm with him, ok? I panic a bit about maybe telling people but I... it feels right." She explained, taking another sip of the beverage.

"Baby Einstein sleeping with an attending? Now that's something I never thought I'd see." Cristina joked.

"Yeah, I mean, Mark Sloan? You're supposed to be the responsible one." Meredith giggled, incredulous

"Oh, just shut up. I'm basically a nun compared to you two." She giggled back, the three girls spending the night talking to each other.
