All Danaelya ever wanted was to be accepted and to love herself the way she deserves to be loved. But she knows better than anyone to expect anything. All her life, she’s been fighting for everyone’s approval, she’s seeking them like treasures. However, is it really their approval she’s looking for? Is it really them that she wants to please? Or is it the loveless child inside her she’s been keeping silent?
Amara is no stranger to survival, everyday she is fighting hard for it. Trying to survive the rabid wolves on her tail while also trying to save everyone she loves. She’s so tired of it, of surviving for someone else. Fighting for someone else. Living someone else’s life. Which is maybe the reason why she felt alive at the mention of surviving for her sake. And not for anything. For once, she could finally be selfish, as selfish as she wants to be. However, as the tension in the other world thickens and the fight for survival gets more and more chaotic, she starts to realize that maybe surviving for someone isn’t that bad.
There is always more than what meets the eye for a child like Reagan. She is like a living treasure, except it isn’t jewelry and gold that she keeps. It’s nightmares and secrets she can’t let anyone know. In her heart, she is longing for some warmth, warmth that only that world could provide. A world where her secrets and nightmares are powerless and her monsters are her pets. However, what if that world makes her realize that nightmares, secrets and her monsters can be her friends too? Her companion? Will she still want to get lost? Or will she want the opposite?
