The emperor left Mo Er Xing well enough alone, however it did not mean he ignored MoQiu altogether.

A black clad man jumped out of god knows where to right in front of the emperor.
"At your service, Your grace.!" the secret guard said, kneeling in front of the emperor.
"Send someone to observe the boy in Er Xing's house.". The emperor commanded.
"Investigate the backgrounds of everyone in the palace, starting with the oldest ones. Investigate activities of all the princes in the past ten years. Starting with the oldest one." the emperor added, then stayed silent for sometime, as if remembering something else.
