While the journey between the last two cities went on like a little picnic, horror stories, urban legends and all around rumor's about lightning tribulations started coming up as they thought of setting out from Lanzhou.
The last two cities are in vicinity of each other, with the yellow river covering most of the landscape,
However, colored mountains, extremely tall peaks where lightning danced ! and sudden rains which ground you to paste in crevices..
The stories are never ending about the journey to JiuQuan.
One can not deny them as urban legends either, given savannah spread in one direction.
In the other direction, the colored mountains with extremely thin crevices spread out.
There is not a drop of water to be had anywhere in between.
Nor a proper landmark to find the direction.
Jiushu can see how very easily people could get lost in these undulating hills and yellow grass.
