Jiushu returned to the blacksmith's house.
The mother of the apprentice blacksmith returned to the house in the morning when she sold the woman to the little boy. The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law did not get along well at all. However, they seem to be maintaining flimsy peace for the show.
All the same, Jiushu warned the mother-in-law.
"Lady! The child in her belly belongs to me, as does your daughter-in-law. If I come to know you have mistreated them in any way whatsoever, the journey you have taken here will look like a walk in the park compared to what I will put you through." Jiushu warned her.
The mother-in-law calmed down. So did her attitude.
Seriously! Why is the old woman blaming her daughter-in-law? It's not like she could do much to prevent her own fate of being used by other men. Fate dealt the woman a bad card, she didn't get destroyed with it, it's already the best they can hope for.
