Chapter 2 : Early Years

I am currently 5 years old, a year smaller than Arthur and my Elder sister Lilia. And i am feeling happy to know and aware of the fact that i have a sister because i didn't had any siblings in my past life. "Vincent and Tabhita" My Mom and Dad are also good to me and i swear to God this world's women are better looking than Earth, my mom and aunt Alice are both beautiful looking women.

But i have noticed 'Alice' being down sometimes, probably because of the loss of Arthur, well he will return in two years so no problem over that.

Let's check my appearance, i moved to the window of my room and i was left astonished after seeing my appearance, i am 5 year old but still i look cute, well every minor looks cute but i am sure that i look cuter than most of my age, i have a mole on my right cheek, black hair and brown eyes but my looks are better than most my age, well in the future i won't have to make much efforts in winning women heart's, I grin to myself and it looks strange looking at a 5 year old grinning.

Well i have to freshen up and get ready for breakfast, after some minutes i headed to the dining table, i looked around and was left astonished as to how huge the manor was, i have got to admit, i am rich in this life and luxury sure feels good.

At the dining table, i saw the "Leywin" family and my family sitting there, i greet them and sit on my chair, while looking around, my gaze fell on the little baby Eleanor, so cute i thought in my mind.

"Um Aunt can i hold Eleanor in my arms for a few minutes? Please", seeing my pitiful & cute face asking for Eleanor, 'Alice' hesitated but gave me the baby.

Alice : 'Zane' dear hold her carefully. She said,

Yes aunty don't worry i will protect her at the cost of my own life, after hearing that everyone looked at me with surprise on their face.

Oops i forgot i am a 5 year old, "Where did you learn that"? Tabhita my mother asked me, i read that in a book mother, i thought that it sounded cool, after sighing to herself she didn't say anything.

"I looked at Eleanor and expressed myself in my thoughts 'aww she so cute', As i already have a big sister so, i guess this will be my little sister, no doubt on that from now on she will be my little sister.

Aunty when will she learn to speak?" i asked Alice this question as any child my age would ask even though i know about it?

It will take two years at most dear 'Zane' said Alice. Oh! i exclaimed "it's so long i wanted to hear her call me big brother", hearing that Alice's eyebrows knit together and her face lost a little color as if remembering something bad, well i can't do anything about that, though i do feel sorry for making her remember that.

i will not say things like this again in front of her.

After having breakfast i headed to the library to verify some things,

After entering the library i was amazed at how big it was, after which i grabbed an old book telling about the continent.

THE CONTINENT of Dicathen comprises of three major kingdoms:- the forest: kingdom of Elenoir in the north, the underground: kingdom of Darv near to the southern border, and the kingdom of Sapin, located on the eastern border of the continent. There also exist the Beast Glades, of which a large percentage remains a mystery. Not much of the Beast Glades has been traversed due to the abundance of beasts, which are hostile to travelers as well as each other. Closing the worn covers of what seemed to be an encyclopedia of this world,

Zane rubbed the bridge of his nose with his fingers, downcast. An almost tangible gloom emanated from him. He let out an audible sigh, even though he knew it, it still feels fascinating to him and he also checked if he isn't missing out on any information because in the book there wasn't any mention of him or maybe he is in a parallel world or his reincarnation will create a butterfly effect, so it's good to verify every information before making any plans on their basis.

"Well now i have to verify some things about mana and start training on it", he said.
