Chapter 14 - First love

It was dark. I seemed to have travelled back to the same old place so I wondered if what I saw earlier was a dream. Emily...Emily I called her name with a worried voice. Nobody answered. I was feeling really left out again with nothing to rely on. Then suddenly somebody put their hand on my shoulders. I immediately knew who it was and pounced on her crying happily.

I am sorry, Liya. Emily's apology came in as a surprise but thinking it was nothing Liya shrugged it off and told her all about her peculiar dream.

No no Liya it was not a dream. You actually woke up and all things were definitely real. Hearing this Liya suddenly blushed like a tomato. I roughly knew the situation but didn't say anything and continued. I no actually we share the same body so I can sense all your emotions and any pain factor and well also see your memories I mumbled. She couldn't have heard the last part so I continued speaking. You have to be careful that dude is bad news. There is nothing free in this world.

Cause I don't know any magic which could resurrect one after death and still have all the emotions intact.

I kept bugging her with questions.Don't you wanna know how they saved you and why. Aren't they a different group of people from those in the arena. I know you imprinted all the faces of the people in your memory. I bugged her with questions I tried to plant seeds of suspicion in her but it seemed to have no effect. Now somehow even after living in a capitalistic society and knowing the ruthlessness of reality it didn't even cause a moment of doubt.

It was like she was possessed. Well in a kind of way she really was but as I was continuing my talk with her I really wanted to punch her. This girl was nuts and had a few loose. Normally human doubt at even a single thing but this brainless idiot knowing such an obvious plot just chose to not see the truth. From that moment forth I knew nothing could change her so I gave her my most hardest created fake but a pained smile and slowly walked into the opposite side, slowly slowly slipping away from the sight of Lily until she assimilated with the darkness.

Lily, Lily I woke up at once to see a beautifully and lavishly decorated room and sitting beside her was the handsome man. I-I, it's okay Michael said softly to Lily. He then let the maids in and after eating a scrumptious meal filled with meat and other delicacies while on the bed, he said: I am Michael Dracon. May I know my good lady's name.

I flustered and blurted out my name Lily Thompson very loudly. Michael chuckled very softly but that was enough to make me embarrassed but I couldn't take my eyes of that captivating smile. I could literally see flowers behind him and the light seemed to only shine on him at the very moment.

My heart started pounding like crazy nd I blushed red like a tomato. See my face become red he place his slender hand on my face and whispered softly are you not feeling okay? I was just moments away from fainting when I said: no it's because I am feeling hot. Damn that was a lame excuse. I thought to myself as he politely and retired from my room.

Haaaa I sighed and slumped back down into my bed and looked at my hand and wandered about my original world and my encounters that happened in this world. It was really a new beginning.

The chandelier in the room looked pretty for moment and as I looked through all the decorations did I know how much care he gave me. It made my heart beat even harder. Suddenly Emily's advice came into my mind "nothing is free in this world, there is no unfound kindness" I shrugged of her advices and made up my mind to repay the grace he showed me today and for saving me from that black hell.

I slowly fell asleep while being immersed in my thoughts. Everything happened so fast yet it still doesn't feel real. I might just wake up in my house and wait for father to care for me. Even if it's all a long dream, I will still cherish it with all my heart and soul.
