"I have to go," he was about to turned around and walk away when I called him.
"Wait,"
"I don't waste my time." I almost rolled my eyes when he said that.
I just want to ask him about their kingdom. Clearly, he know a lot but it seems like he doesn't entertain questions.
I just nodded my head dismissively and then he quickly disappeared from my sight.
"Let's go," I walked away with my cats until we reached our house.
I pushed the big stone that covers the door. It was one of my way to keep thieves or anyone from entering our house.
After pushing out the stone from the way, I was about to walk inside when a man spoke behind me.
"The Cave of the God," he whispered.
I quickly turned around to face him and was about to throw my knife towards him when I familiarized who he was.
"Why are you here...Asher?" I asked him.
"How did you..." He looked at me with wide eyes. he looked really shocked at what he was seeing.
"What?"
"How did you break the spell of that cave?"
I looked at him with my brows furrowed, confused about what he is talking about.
"What do you mean?" My brows form in line.
"That house. The spell. How?"
"Huh? Can you elaborate what you're trying to say?"
"This house is cursed. No one have ever broke that spell. Nor no one ever tried breaking it. So tell me... How did you do it?" He was looking at me menacingly.
"I didn't do anything." He walked slowly towards me and leaned on me to level his face with mine.
"And... How will y'all now that you can't break it if no ever tried breaking it?"
"Who are you?" His voice was real slow.
"I already told you who I am."
"No. I mean, who are you...really." I looked away and gulped.
"I am no one."
"But no one can open that door." I smirked.
"Definitely. I opened that door because I am no one. As you said. NO. ONE. CAN. OPEN. THAT. DOOR." I told him seriously before walking straight inside. I saw how he hesitantly followed me.
"Why are you following me?" I asked him, not looking at him.
"I want to know how you break the spell." I rolled my eyes irritatedly.
I turned around and looked at her. "I told you I didn't know. I just opened that damn door and that's it!"
He sighed heavily.
"Then...can I stay here?" I looked at him with wide eyes.
"No, why won't you go back to the castle and continue being a Prince." I rolled my eyes again. I kept on rolling my eyes and damn, it's making my head ache for some reason.
"I can't. Not until I find that old woman. I can't go back."
What? What if he won't find her? Me actually? What if he will never know that I was the one he was looking for? Does that mean he'll stay here for a long time?
I slapped my forehead in irritation.
"And? That's not my problem! Why don't you look for some place to shelter you?"
"There's no other shelter in this forest than this one." He looked at me flatly. "And this is not your place for you to own." I surrendered at that.
I know, this is not mine.
I sighed heavily before nodding dismissively.
"Why can't you go back to the castle again?"
"King's order." He said shortly and sat down the wooden couch. He looked like he owned the place by the way he sat.
I just shook my head in irritation.
"Okay, I will let you stay here but..." He looked at me with tired eyes.
"What?"
"You won't live like a Prince here. You will help me look for food. You'll live like an ordinary human being." He smirked at me.
"Oh, don't worry, baby. I don't live like that. I grew up in the wild." He grinned.
"And..." He let out a chuckle that almost produced butterflies in my stomach. I felt like my face heated so I quickly looked away from him.
No. I don't like this feeling. It was new to me. I don't understand why am I feeling this way. This ain't good. For sure.
"What?"
"Don't call me baby. Just call me Cia."
I walked towards the kitchen to get some water.
"I wonder if your name is really Cia." I glared at him while drinking some water.
Damn, this man is so irritating! Why won't he just believe me?
"That's my name. What's it with you?" He shrugged and looked around.
"There's nothing really special here. Why is there a need to put a spell on the door?" He whispered while looking around. He even kept on touching the things decorated around the place. Maybe trying to know if there is something special with those things.
"When you arrived here... Did you see something...?"
"Something what?" I raised a brow.
"Something weird? Special?" He shrugged like it didn't bother him but I know, he's real curious.
"Hmm,"
Oh, boy. You haven't seen the underground of this cave yet. I tell you, you'll get amaze and maybe, you won't try to leave this cave too.
"Nothing really special." I told him. I saw how he heaved a deep sigh before slowly nodding her head.
"Anyways, I'll go to the lake. I haven't really take a bath earlier." He quickly looked at me.
"Sure, let me come with you." I looked at him with wide eyes.
"What?!"
