Chapter three: The twins find out about their Dad
* MAYA'S APARTMENT ★
" The hospital director is so wicked, how could he fire you because you refused to have sex with him ? " Camile , Maya's only friend asked.
" Just let him be , I always knew he was a pervert "
" What are you going to do now that you lost your job ? "
" I don't know " Maya said and sighed.
" Maya, why don't you call the twins father ? He deserves to know that he has two kids somewhere so he could support you , things aren't going to be easy for you now that you've lost your job " Camile said.
"Nope, I would never do that , didn't I tell you who the twins father is , Camile he is a dangerous man, a devil. He is a mafia lord,I don't want to have anything to do with him " Maya said and Camile sighed.
"At least he is rich , he is in Mexico now enjoying his life while you are here suffering with his kids that he does even know exist "
"Enough about Ciara and Cameron father , let's talk about something else "
Ciara and Cameron who pretended to be asleep in their room heard everything.
" Our dad stays in Mexico " Ciara said and wowed.
" We are going to meet our dad "
"Huh? What are you saying , didn't you hear what mom said about him ? "
" You suit yourself and stay with mom but I am going to Mexico to see dad , mom might be making things up about him " Cameron said.
He picked up his blue suit case and started packing up.
"Well I am not going to let you do this alone , If you are leaving I am also leaving. Where you go I go , twins code " Ciara said and high fived Cameron before taking her pink suit case.
" We leave first thing tomorrow " Cameron said and Ciara nodded.
★ NEXT DAY ★
"Babies it time to get ready for school " Maya said as she walked to the twins room.
She frowned when she opened the door and met nobody.
" Twins ? " She called and went into the bathroom but they weren't there.
"Babies?! " She shouted as she searched the room.
"Maybe they are hiding in the wardrobe " she mumbled and strode to wardrobe.
Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped when she saw an empty wardrobe! The twins wardrobe was fucking empty. Everything was gone, the only thing that was inside the wardrobe was a white sheet of paper.
Maya picked the paper with shaking hands, she opened it to read what was written on it.
"Oh my God! " She screamed and fell on her butt.
She brought out her phone from her pocket and called Camille.
" Hello Camile, the twins are gone"
** ILLINOIS
" Mom will be worried sick , chase did you think we did the right thing ? " Ciara asked and chase groaned.
"Of course we did , beside we left a note for her , she knows where we are so she won't worry too much '"
"You are right but how do we find our Daddy , we don't even know his name , or where he stays "
" No need to worry about that , we will just stop a taxi and ask the driver to drop off us at dad place "
"If the drivers doesn't know who how dad is ? " Ciara asked.
"They will, judging from the way Mom talks about him , he must be pretty famous "
" I hope you are right " Ciara mumbled then opened her can of orange juice.
✷ CALIFORNIA ~ MAYA APARTMENT ✷
" What did you mean by the twins are gone ? " Camile who entered Maya's apartment asked in a rush.
She was stunned to see Maya sitting on the couch and crying.
" Maya " she called slowly and sat beside her on the couch.
Maya gave her the letter that the twins wrote and Camile accepted it , then unfold it .
" Mom , by the time you are reading this letter we would be gone already , don't panic. We aren't running away from you , we are going to Illinois to meet dad we want to know how it feels like to have a dad , bye mom your lovely Twins "
Camile gasped when she finished reading the letter.
"What the fuck?! They went to Illinois on their own! " She screamed, she was totally shocked by what the twins did .
" Yeah and I also at fault for giving them to much freedom I spoilt them so much " Maya said and Camile placed her hand on her shoulder trying to give her comfort.
" How did the twins know that their dad is in Illinois ? " Camile asked with a frown on her face.
"They must have heard us talking last night , Ciara is too sweet and gentle to think about running away. I'm one hundred percent sure it was Cameron's idea "
Maya said and Camile nodded.
" So you are going to Illinois ? " Camile asked while looking at the brown suitcase that was beside Maya.
" I have no other choice , my flight is in two hours time I should get going if I don't want to get delayed by the traffic " Maya mumbled and stood up from the couch , Camile also did the same thing.
"Let's go , I will escort you to the airport " Camile said.
