Chapter 17

She stayed silent until he spoke that her idea is good that the next meeting she should present her ideas to her rest teammates.She couldn't help but feel happy when she told him"thank you"

He's face was now storic as if he didn't like those two words.He just turned and started leaving the room.Mia who was surprised by his actions ran towards him and jumped on his back.He was stunned how this girl kept making him feel this way.While on his back,she moved closer to his ear and said 'sorry".He still didn't say anything then she climbed down and gave him a peck on his lips before she ran to her department.She didn't know what made her do something like that,when she entered her department her teammates were staring at her which she didn't take notice of because she was still lost in her thoughts.

William walked up to her and gently tapped her to reality.Immediately she sat down,

"what happened"William asked her while the rest teammates focus their attention back on their work.The question William asked her made what happened replay in her mind and she was lost again.When William saw that,he walked away thinking at least she's better and the smile on her face means that he didn't query or fire her,because that's all he wanted to know not that he cared at the first place.

After Lincoln(the leader),the second to the leader was William so he has the full priority to know.The day went by pretty fast and it was time for them to go to their various destination.Mia thought of visiting her best friends and she wanted to surprise them.She went without telling Liam anything and he didn't care to know.When she went home,her friends weren't home yet so she went to her room to wait for them knowing so well that their room will be locked,the moment her body came in contact with the bed she slept off.Ava and Evelyn came home and they started their discussion and some of their discussion were mainly on business.

After awhile,they also went to their room and slept off.

The next morning,Mia woke up,she blinked her eyes several times so that she can adjust her eyes to the light.When she has finally regained conciousness,she looked around and the room didn't seem to be her room in Liam's house.Then she started remembering that happened,she left her room hastily when she met Evelyn and Ava who were about to go out.When they saw her,they couldn't believe their eyes and thought it was their imagination.When she was approaching them,her body figure became more visible.They were happy and with the blink of an eye,they were all in each other embrace.They sat on the chair and they all started discussing happily.Evelyn told her all that happened when she left and Mia told them about her guy because she hasn't tell them his name.She described how his house is though they thought she exaggerated on it.She thought of inviting them to his place but needed his permission to bring her friends there or not.Suddenly she remembered she didn't tell Liam where she was going and thought he will be worried and looking for her.

When Ava touched her cheek and said"you are getting more beautiful,Mia.Is it love that is making your skin more shiny"Mia couldn't help but blush which made Ava and Evelyn giggle at her reaction.Luckily for them,it was Saturday so they could chat till dusk and even have a sleep over though the last time they has a sleepover they all slept off before midnight so they have all been against the idea.But they wouldn't mind staying up till Dawn discussing with each other because they don't know when Mia would visit them again.The girls were having fun,they even went to the park and they also went shopping.

To them,they don't want the day to end but to their disappointment it was dusk and it was time to go back to Liam's house.The girls happily told each other goodbyes when Mia entered a taxi to go to Liam's house
