Igni was barely able to support the barrier by herself. As such, getting disturbed a little was enough for her barrier to fluctuate. Before that happened, however, I quickly applied a personal barrier and dashed forward.

I don't know yet how powerful the enemy was, but I can't leave him alone!

With nothing but a barrier and a sword in hand, I recklessly rushed toward the enemy. However, the armored knight merely turned his golden eyes in my direction before ignoring me completely.

'So I'm not even a threat, huh?! Then try this!'

Using Fatima's skill, [Defense Penetration], I raised the lethality of my attack to the limit. As expected, the knight quickly noticed the danger and raised a hand, pinching the edge of my blade.

I was thinking of going through with the motion, but to my surprise, the sword between his three fingers didn't budge an inch! It was as if it got stuck inside a boulder, not budging an inch!
