Relieved

Next day morning 

Ava and Elsa's apartment 

7:30 Am

"Ahhh, why the hell world doesn't let me sleep?" Ava groaned in frustration when someone calling her continuously 

"Who is it?" Ava frowned and shouted without checking the number 

"Ava, it's me," Calvin said 

"Cal—"

Cutting her off, Calvin said "I am outside your apartment. Please open the door."

"Yeah, I am coming," Ava said and stepped out of the room 

Opening the door, Ava worriedly asked "What happen Cal? Is everything okay?"

"Where is Elsa?" Calvin asked and stepped into the apartment 

"Elsa? She is in her room—" before Ava could say something Calvin rushed towards Elsa's room.

Opening the door, Calvin breathed a sigh of relief when she looked at Elsa who is sleeping peacefully. 

"Cal, what happen?" Ava asked in confusion 

"Let's go to the living room and talk," Calvin said before slowly closing the door.

Living room 

Passing him a glass of water, Ava asked "Now tell me, what happen? Why did you come here so early?"

"We have a flight at 8:00 Am," Calvin said 

"Oh okay— what? It's already 7:45 Am." Ava shouted 

"Yeah, I was calling Elsa since seven in the morning but she isn't answering my calls. I was so worried and came here to check whether she is okay or not." Calvin explained 

"Elsa never wakes up early in the morning, why did you booked a flight in the morning?" Ava asked 

"I asked her yesterday but she told that she will manage." Calvin sighed and said 

"That is never gonna happen. She can manage only when we continuously wakes her up." Ava helplessly shook her head and said 

Pausing for a while, she asked "What will you do now?"

"I asked Nick to arrange a chopper. It will start when we are ready." Calvin smiled and said 

"That's good." Ava sighed and said 

"Your friend seriously knows how to give me a heart attack." Calvin helplessly shook his head and said 

"That's true." Ava chuckled and said 

"Let me bring a coffee for you," Ava said before walking towards the kitchen

Half an hour later.

"It is already 8: 30. Let me wake her up." Ava sighed and said 

"Let her sleep." Calvin smiled and said

"But Calvin—"

Cutting her Ava off, Calvin said "Chopper can wait but Elsa's sleep can't."

"You are—" Ava stopped saying when she heard Elsa's angry voice.

"Elsa, what happen to her?" Ava worried and walked towards Elsa's room

"Ava, I fucked everything up." Elsa groaned in frustration 

"What happen babe? Why are you shouting?" Ava asked 

"Ahhh, why the hell I couldn't wake up?" Elsa shouted 

Looking at Ava, she said, "Babe, Cal told me that our flight is at 8:00 Am, I mistakenly set alarm for 8:00 PM."

"Look, I have twenty missed calls from Cal. What if he left me? What if he misunderstood me?" Elsa muttered 

"Calm down babe."

"How should I calm down Ava? I missed the flight, I missed travelling with Cal. I really fucked up everything." Elsa frowned and shouted 

"El—"

"Ava, please do something. I want to go for a trip with Cal. How can I live without seeing him for one week? What if he thinks I am not responsible? What if he stops talking?" Elsa in between her sobs 

"I wish I could stop talking but I can't stop talking with you El." Calvin smiled and said before stepping inside the room with a coffee tray in his hands

"Cal—" Elsa widened her eyes in shock when she looked at Calvin. 

She couldn't believe that she is seeing Calvin for real. She rubbed her eyes and again looked at Calvin who is chuckling for her childish behaviour.

Ava smiled and left the room leaving them alone.

Placing the coffee tray on the bed, he smiled and said "How can I leave without you?"

"I am sorry, I—"

"Shhh, stop crying like a baby," Calvin said before wiping her tears

"You know what, I can bear your anger, frustration but I can't bear these tears." Calvin smiled and said

Pausing for a while, he said "I felt so tensed when you didn't answer the call. I thought something might happen to you and—" Calvin stopped saying and closed his eyes.

He couldn't explain how he felt the moment when Elsa didn't answer his calls. He tried to pacify himself but he couldn't help feeling bad and tensed. He can afford to lose anything but he can't afford to lose his Elsa. The thought of something might happen to Elsa made him heartbroken and restless. Only he knows how relieved he felt the moment, he looked at Elsa sleeping peacefully.
