The Laughing Witch

Once upon a time, in a faraway village, in the world of swords and magic, there was one boy with hair as blue as the sky who had been wandering everywhere for the last week just to find food. He stumbled to anyone and made a sign with his hand; no one there understood what that meant, so they just left him alone. He was in an orphanage in the next neighborhood, but the orphanage broke down after an attack by monsters.

Despite this, the boy didn't lose hope. He managed to go to the next village by foot. But now he thought everything was over. He hasn't eaten anything yet for a while now, but then he stumbled upon an old woman. She is thin, tall, and has wrinkles all over her face. She attracts attention with her outfit. Her dress is all black, she wears a big hat, and she has purple hair, which is uncommon.

After a while, the boy realizes that he was stumbling upon a witch! When the boy looked at her face, he gulped deeply and made a hand gesture to ask for food, making the old woman laugh. She said

"I've just come to the nearby village, and look what I found. A sparkling blue gem! Boy, what's your name?" she asked.

The boy replied with hand movements, explaining he couldn't talk.

The old woman said again, "Of course you won't talk, right? If you don't talk, I won't help you; even with tons of Lumine inside your body, you can't survive if you are starving."

The boy looks confused and makes a simple movement that looks like eating, and then the boy makes a gesture that he can't talk.

The old woman made a surprised face and said, "Okay, boy, I understand. It's not that you won't talk, but you can't talk."

The boy replied with nods.

The old woman said, "Ah, that's a bum. I've taken a liking to you. Of course you won't find a talent like this in this kind of village.".

BOOM!

Villagers were screaming and trying to escape.

The old woman said, "Oh ho ho, what a coincidence! Now I just have to leave this village."

When the old woman started to run, the boy tried to run as well but stumbled into a tiny rock and fell.

The old woman said, "AH, what a burden."

In the background appears a big giant with a buffalo head as its head; its body is all dark red.

The old woman started her chant, "By the name of Sylph, the god of wind, grant me the power of quickness."

There's a circle of air spawning below her feet, and rather than running away, she runs, approaching the monster as fast as the wind.

The old woman screamed, "By the name of the laughing witch, I shall exterminate you. Ha ha ha".

The monster tried to punch the old woman, but she is extremely fast.

While dodging, the old woman started her chant, "By the name of Zeus, the god of thunder, this is to protect this town!"

Sparkles start spawning across her body one after another, and as she waves and starts spinning her hand, the sparkles start spinning; it looks ridiculous. "Spinning lightning!" She screams and starts laughing, spinning lightning strikes at that monster.

She spun around the monster, and the lightning around her is spinning. It's truly a spin fiesta! After a while, the monster goes numb because of the lightning, and after some time, the knights in the village start running to the monster and say, "There is a monster, and there is a witch fighting it. She must be the laughing witch!". Meanwhile, the boy looked behind, saw the fight, and was mesmerized, but then he fell due to starvation and exhaustion. The laughing witch looking at the knights started coming and said, "Oh troubles!", and then she quickly moved away from the monster, approached the collapsed boy, flicked her hand, and the boy flew away, then she took him away.
