Preparation to enter the ancient ruins

After Nightin and Ash left for the Hepta Violet flower with the map, Caps recovered from his daze as his eyes changed to the colour of violet.

"Don't worry grandmaster, you may have been unable to claim the Hepta Violet flower in your last battle and fell in glory, but I'll claim it as your descendent. Those seven Overlords who stole it from you and these two youths, I'll make sure to let them have fun."

Caps laughed out loud without holding back, releasing all the anger and anguish within his heart as he bawled his tears out. Iridescent lances the colour of violet protruded from his back, four of them in total as they left his body. Their colour wasn't just the usual violet, but one that reflects elegance and beauty.

The first lance was his weapon, a heavy weight lance that only he can control. The second Lance was his defensive armor, forming a protective energy barrier around his body. The third and fourth lance were energy rifles that take on the shape of a lance.

"Hehe, steal the Hepta Violet flower from me? The only reason I hid my cultivation and allowed myself is to bait your army there since I'll need an immense amount of rich nutrients to shower the ground with to locate the hidden entrance.

In just the matter of a few hours, they arrived at a ridge. There were two mountains that acted as rocks, both forming an arc as they curve towards each other.

"Do you feel it?" One of the soldiers asks his friend walking beside him, his face pale white with fear.

The other soldier looked at him on curiosity before averting his gaze to the others, only to realise that besides him and a few other soldiers, the faces of the others were ashen white. Their lips were cracked, and this was being followed up by their skin. Severe effects of dehydration are getting to them.

Without any hesitation, Nightin recalled the Arkhawk back to his consciousness while he scans around with his Samsara eye to find a similarity among those that are fine.

Within the bodies of those that are fine, raging water and cooling glaciers are constantly battling against scorching heat behind their master's back.

I see, so the only method to deal with this dehydration crisis right now is through water and ice. Nightin walked up to Ash and asked "Ash, do you have any idea on how to deal with this situation?"

Ash shakes his head helplessly and replies "The law of imagination may be profound and extraordinary, the powers I hold may be versatile, but even I'm left helpless this time."

"Ash, do you still have the map with you?" Nightin asks upon recalling that they still have a map, pinning his hopes on the map which might contain a solution towards this intense heat.

Nightin and Ash may be fine, but this is because they know that they aren't to be compared to just those elites or geniuses, those qualified so stand alongside them must stand out from others as well, such as being the number one genius of a certain high grade realm.

Not just barely, but overshadowing the second place by a huge margin. That was the level of demons they are and to match up to them, it would already be an arduous task, trying to stand on a position equal to them would be akin to plucking the stars off the night sky.

Opening the map without any further questions, Ash realised that there were no anomalies or clues and wrinkled his brows in deep contemplation. After some time passed, he sighed and told Nightin "I have an idea in mind, but it's extremely risky and we might end up failing, are you up for the risk?"

"What is it?" Nightin asks back, half in joy and half in worry. Since Ash wasn't confident about the next move he was going to take, it means that there's a risk to be taken and if they fail, then the life of all those soldiers under them will be in danger. As a general, that's something which they absolutely will not allow to happen.

"I'm thinking of using flames to burn the map so that we might be able to read the hidden contents erased by the merciless passage of time and its inexorable time flow." Ash explains as a ball of flame gathers on his palm, gradually taking on the form of a wisp that was extremely dim in colour and almost invisible, this is the lowest temperature of flames that he can manage which might work.

Soon, the edges of the map started to burn and right when Ash was about to pull back to preserve the remaining content, Nightin called for him to continue and elucidated "Don't worry, there's a thin sheet of contents hidden within, we might have been fooled by that captive who goes by the name of Caps.

Soon enough, the treasure map vanished from Ash hands and right when he panicked, Nightin promptly bent down and swish his hand across the air to grab the invisible map, allowing his samsara energy to flow into the map of its own free will to light it up.

In just the blink of an eye, the map appeared differently before their eyes. Even though the directions were the same, the danger hazards and solutions to deal with them could be found, this was inclusive of the locations of the treasures they can possibly seek and locate easily through the map.

"Damn it! How did he figure out the method to discover the true map, there should be no one still alive who knows about the existence of that map and even if it was only a fluke, there must be a reason as to why he chose to use flames instead of water or any other viable methods." Caps cursed as he prepared himself to stealth in along with the army, if he couldn't gain the advantage now, then he'll wait until the generals arrange for their men to sacrifice their lives for blood.

"All soldiers, gather around me right now!" Upon hearing Nightin's orders, soldiers from both armies took the extra mile to get closer to them, trying their utmost best to stand upright as it's the basic form of respect for a soldier.

Nightin did as the instructions on the map entailed and commanded for the element of wind to surround the ridges instead of his soldiers which might only prove to be slightly useful. When the wind was circling around the ridges, Nightin took on the second step of approach and immediately called for the element of water, rain.

He might be unable to control the water element, but he can make use of Ash abilities to create water particles in the sky which he did shortly after so that Nightin can make use of it to control for a strong rainfall to hydrate his soldiers.

After all these were done, the soldiers were all ready to go, but Nightin and Ash merely stared at each other, signalling for their soldiers to wait by raising their left fist up, halt.

The soldiers abided by the orders and awaited for their generals to finish their conversation on their mount. "What do you think is being referred to by nutrients here?" Ash was the person to initiate the conversation.

"No doubt, it's referring to human blood. But if this is all that it's truly asking for, then this might be the easiest requirement which we can expect to receive."

"Are you thinking about sacrificing our soldiers? I'll fight you to the death if that's truly what you want." Ash threatened without holding back in the slightest, causing the soldiers to avert their gaze to him.

"Of course not, but I have collected enough blood vials from the beasts which my soldiers have slain since I expected them to come in handy one day, though I have never expected it to happen this soon."

Ash gestured for Nightin to give it a shot as he stepped back, allowing the mixed blood of many species to spill onto the floor, causing the cracks in the ground to be slowly covered up as they took on a velvety red colour. The soldiers were worried, but still remained still without making any movements, this is because they can see that their generals weren't even sure themselves if this will work out.

"Come on soldiers! Just what are you being afriad of right now!?"

Hearing the courageous rally of one soldier, only a few soldiers heard him and joined him to encourage the others and in just the matter of a few seconds, the soldiers were rallying together and ready to face their foe.

"We are the elite soldiers and we'll never back down!" The ten words were simple, but this is the only idea they had in mind right now, as soldiers, the most terrifying them for them isn't death, but being unable to step onto the battlefield despite their wishes.

Nightin and Ash gave each other a smile as they braced themselves for the incoming waves, they didn't know what was heading their way and all the map told them were two words: HAVE FUN
