Chapter 93: Youthful Vigour

Cyrus disorganized his hair as he tried to think of something. Ophir noticed something tailing his cape.It was the Queen's hair piece made of pearl. Natalina came right in with Lila.

"Your Highness the Queen instructed us that if ever she disappears. She would leave the other pair of her hair ornament she personally crafted for today." Natalina summarized as Lila grab the ornament and used it to utter a prayer.

" Heavenly Father who is our destiny crafter. We humbly asked of Your aid to open a passage to save our queen. May Your compass and keys open a portal that will directly lead us to her. We thank Your favour upon us. Amen."

A portal opened in front of them. Cyrus was surprised at their abrupt response.

"Make haste father. " Lila informed.

Cyrus can feel his mind starting to work once more.

"Kiel, Natalina and Mem will protect the palace. Hexel and Lehi will immediately move to locate Urchin. Nevi and Ophir will defend this portal. No buts! Kiel I am counting on you."

Gardenia felt expose when her garments got ripped by Cyprus. Her chained feet started to spread with her arms and body. Thankfully her undergarment were untouched. Gardenia seriously felt fear creeped upon her chest. Gardenia can't show any weakness at this moment. She have to fake it till Cyrus arrive. She honestly don't know if Cyrus would notice the message but she trust him.

Cyprus started to lean closer to seal their gap. Gardenia averted her face from Cyprus. Her gesture irked him that he pulled her hair and tilted her neck. Gardenia spit on his face when he tried to kiss her. Cyprus groaned in annoyance and slapped Gardenia on the cheek. The impact from the blow of Cyprus hand pierced through the chamber.

"This is why I hate you! " Cyprus hissed as he cupped Gradenia's chin with his finger. Gardenia smirked at him and uttered.

"the feeling is mutual, just so you know."

Cyprus got angry at her response and bit Gardenia's neck till it bleed. Gardenia held back a yelp. That's when Cyprus suddenly got thrown to the ground.

Cyrus punch Cyprus by the stomach and kicked him on the same spot. Cyprus body slid from the floor and hit a wall.

Ophir and Nevi unchained Gardenia from the wall. Cyrus instructed them to enter the portal. Cyprus spit the blood within his mouth. He stood wipping his mouth with the back if his hand.

"Did I made you jealous brother? For you to hit me with such anger is not surprising at all."

Cyprus snapped his finger and the bed flew to crush Cyrus. Cyrus thrust his rod that splitted the bed in half. Cyrus refused to use his gift against his own kin. Cyprus attacked a strike with his arms. Cyrus blocked them. Their identical combat and sparring begun.

Kiel was furious to see her mother this mistreated. He switched places with Natalina and He enter the portal. Ophir and Nevi tried to talk some sense with him but Kiel is being the spoiled prince as he is. Cyprus suddenly got kicked by someone from the back. Cyrus slapped his forehead. He forgot that Keil was waiting from the other side of the portal.

Kiel launches another attack toward Cyprus by using the gravity with his heel to dribble upon Cyprus's rib. Kiel spoke with pure lividity.

"You'll pay for killing my child and touching my mother."

Cyprus caughed as his own system choke him. Cyprus knew that Kiel had all the gifts and potential that surpasses Cyrus but he never thought that it will be used against him. Cyprus hee-haw at Kiel. Cyrus and Kiel made a stance to protect each other's back. An old man appeared beside him. Cyprus declared his intention to devide the team.

"Poldo, get in to that portal and kill that filfty woman!" Poldo bowed and vanished. Nevi and Ophir blocked the entrance but got sucked in by a strong force. Kiel and Cyrus missed the portal.

Cyprus uttered a confession that shocked Cyrus.

"I sold my soul to a demon just to sit on that throne. I manipulated Evi's vessel to break you but you took a woman that turned all my plans upside down. This time I will make sure to collect everything that belongs to me."

Cyrus glared at Cyprus who was the very resemblance of his face except from his locks. He did everything not to blame and hate his twin but in the end Cyrus can just clench his jaw from everything that rolled out under his tongue.

"Your already aware that a demon can never defeat my God. And I will prove to you that my God is not ashamed to be my God." Cyrus replied as he raised up his rod in prayer.

Kiel summoned his cane and formed a cross with his father as they recited a prayer.

"Our God who is not ashamed to be our God. Let Your hammer of justice fall upon this person. May You strike him with Your wrath and anger. Let Your punishment befall this person. We entrust him to You. Amen."

Cyrus and Kiel moved as one. Cyprus allowed the demon within him to take over. Cyprus roared with spookiness as he strike with his body. He used his palm to block their rod and cane. Kiel jungled down from his cane and kicked Cyprus on the knee. When Cyprus stepped backward Cyrus used his elbow to dunk upon his forehead. Cyprus got thrown on the wall because of the force.

Hexel and Lila almost finished the hundred rooms and stairs within the tower but they can't find Urchin. A sudden pause in time made Hexel shudder. The witch who goatishly gazed at him appeared in front of him. Lehi got frozen at the spot. Hexel had his senses but Lehi's time seemed to be frozen.

The witch stepped closer to him and she winked at him. The witched licked Lehi's face before pushing her out from the highest tower window.
