Chapter 82: Settlements of Soul

Ham was just a spokeperson from the rebellious fraction. Cyrus heared how large and vast their battalion and community was. But Cyrus choosed to remain silent despite the hardship they have put Kiel into. Cyrus wanted Kiel to understand the ins and outs of the fraction. So he choosed to send his own son at Vista for their investigation.

"Kiel, Nevi and Urchin will be taking the rebellious fraction. Ophir, Hexel and Lila will be researching about the unkown disease in Shin and Nue. While Lehi and Natalina will be probing at Hokkai. We need to devide the team. It's not for multi tasking, rather to prevent this cases from blooming into a uncontrollable situation." Cyrus stated as he prorogate the session.

Gardenia cannot help but question her husband's decision by sending their son to the pit. Although she wanted to trust his commitment this time.

"Why did you decide to send our son to a lair? Gardenia asked in a sorrowful tone.

Cyrus intently answered with peaceful contour.

"It's because he needs to see who is after him. So that he will value the training we are pouring for him to mature. And that is because he is our son."

Natalina had asked her father for any input about Hokkai but her father just pointed that their franchise was fruitful and that their main products were flour. Natalina asked her father of some reciet or franchise by exporting and importing the said product. Lehi even made a comment that it's overpriced.

Their inspection were unwelcome. The Mayor even said that they should have some permit coming from the palace. When Lehi introduced themselves as part of the royal aid. The treatment and atmosphere immediately shifted. They started to serve them and almost lick their shoes. Natalina who is used to this kind of hypocrisy composed her acting while Lehi just supported every move Natalina did.

Ophir, Hexel and Lila made the effort to take the wheel ride even if Lila can just open a protal for them. They agreed to take village of Nue. The ride was halted due to the rain. Their wheel broke and was forced to hike their way to the said village. When they arrived the Chief had accomodated them to a small house with two rooms . Hexel and Ophir shared on the larger chamber while Lila took the spare one.

Kiel had put on a mask to align with the event theme. His costume were prepared by Eyel. He choosed the hood with leafy attachment. It was like he is the angel of the forest with scarlet mask reaching to the edge of his nose and the feather hid his jasper pupil. Nevi is a new member so he take in a pairing suit with Urchin. A leopard and animal skin with ears and tails. They looked like a father and son attending a kiddy party.

Aside from the usual glimmering and elegant ambiance. The people were in their costumes and are having chitchat while tossing their wines.

Suddenly they entered a underground room that is built like a theater. The room was dark. A woman wearing a swim suit with an apron cleared her throat and merrily greeted the crowd. The people catcalled,cheered and pass on some lewd comments. Even the women were loud and noisy.

"Let us start the bid! Please welcome our new collections!".

The stage rose its curtains. It revealed number of women who are posing in seductively and was not bothered by the men's green reactions. Keil wanted to get on the stage and cloth those women. Nevi covered Urchin's eyes. They noticed Ham shouting and whistling by the side.

Kiel wanted to punch the pervert man who laid his eyes and hands toward his mother and wife. The bidding started and the price just got higher and higher.

The stage lights changes and the atmosphere got intense. Suddenly the people went speechless.

A potrait of Queen Gardenia got auctioned. Kiel gritted his teeth in rage. Nevi tap his shoulder when some nobles started raising their tag. The portrait was Gardenia's frame with a graceful smile. It was clothed and designed with Radney's oceanic hair and crimson eyes. Even Kiel rated it as magnificent. The host intoduced it as the most priced item for that night and was acquired from one of the well known painter. Ham had the highest bid at the moment. It irked Kiel. Nevi raised his hands and doubled the amount offered by Ham. It surprised the crowd to have someone who is willing to have Gardenia's face. Nevi reannounced his price. "Give it to me in billion or more!"

Kiel applauded Nevi's wise crack. Thankfully they had Natalina prayed for gold.

Lehi and Natalina took the time to enter the flour factory. There was nothing unusual. It was when Natalina and Lehi decided to stay for another day by camping outside the city. They watched the silent night upon the city. Not until one of the official had started a bonefire outside the city near their camp.

"Let's double the price for this. No one would know anyway. Go and deliver it."

The gang laughed at their own comment.

Natalina and Lehi appeared with their armour. Natalina had her ample and thigh covered with gems. Her hair had pearls ornament. Her spear is made from sapphire. Lehi slide her right foot on the ground and her coal heel cut the ground. The gang shouted and got arrested by Natalina and Lehi when they examined the products it was a painting with drugs and glittering pills. The painting were not that bad either.

Kiel and Nevi won the bidding and secured Gardenia's portrait. Ham made his way toward them and congratulated them. Nevi and Kiel needed to act friendly. Ham pass another sexy comment concerning Gardenia and Kiel stamp his feet. It was strong enough to shake the whole place. When Kiel realised what just occurred. He acted afraid and was followed up by Urchin and Nevi. The people started panicking. Unfortunately the whole building collapsed. Kiel uttered a prayer that would exterminate the filfty place and to shake up Ham.
